I'm Jim Davis and if you are going through some tough things, I would recommend Dr. Karim, very patient, understanding and personable, you need that when we are going through what we are, Keep it up Doc I'm glad he is helping me, God Bless him
Travelled 8000 miles seeking the best care for a family member with a rare tumor in an uncommon location. It was not an easy decision and many centers were contacted before choosing Mayo clinic at Rochester after recognising Dr. Karim's training and expertise in bone tumor surgery and not finding many surgeons willing to do this surgery for my relative. We had an online consultation with Dr. Karim prior to travel . He was one of the few surgeons who advised surgery was willing to do the surgery and delivered what he promised. DR. karim and his teams delivered an excellent preoperative , operative and post operative care . As a family we do not regret the time effort and money spend to have this surgery , thousand s of miles away. I would highly recommend Dr. Karim when it comes to surgical opinion on sacral tumors.
I was not excited about visiting the oncologist just 14 months after my first diagnosis, but Dr. Karim did a great job of explaining everything, giving me options, and involving me in my care. As an RN, I have a great deal of experience with physicians, and he was very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Dr. Karim has been wonderful for the three years he has been my hematologist.
I am very happy to be his patient. He is great doctor.
This man is the most unprofessional "doctors" I have ever seen. I have going to Karim Sayad for many years in hopes that he will finally help me with my colitis the man is full of shit. All he cares about is getting paid and if you have insurance or not. Everything time I go I literally wait over 3-4 hours to be seen just for him to see me for 10 mins and tell me to keep taking prednisone. Take it from me and my horrible experience. Do not go to this man he treats people horrible you will wait over 3-4 hours for him to tell you the same thing he is rude and very very very unprofessional he treats his employees like crap also
Very knowledgeable, understanding, and he listens and addresses all concerns Thumbs up Dr Karin a d 5hankyou JB your patient in LS
I took a co-workers referral to visit this doctor. I am glad I did.I came here not knowing I had a H-pylori infection thinking I had acid reflux after a scary event. After waiting a while I was finally able to see Dr. Sayad at his Gramercy office. He took a few looks at me and knew what it was. which later after a smooth and quick endoscopy we confirmed it was exactly that.I have united health care PPO and the copay for the visit & everything was reasonable and no charges over the top.He did exactly what was expected. FOR THIS I REMOVE ONE STAR: ,y only complaints would be that he loves to talk as somoene said before and he overspends time with clients, which in turn pushs appointments back. Also his front desk staff, a few young girls, who I seen be rude to other guests and actually gave me attitude on the phone. I think the thing they need to realize is that people come in here or call in as I had are sick and a bit upset and we appreciate staff who can help calm and assure us not make situations harder then need be. I called in the appointed Friday(could not get through on the line untill the following Monday) for my test results only to be told they don't know where they are.. I call a few more times as i am feeling horrible and awaiting a solution. I did finally get them soon after, however, I would have expected the staff to be sensitive and not give attitude. Other than that I loved the place Dr. Sayad has an amazing beside manner and does the procedures himself and as it was my first procedure ever I was scareeedddd and it help to see his friendly face there during this time. Now that I am feeling bettter I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need.
About 10 years ago, I was referred to Dr. Sayad, 60 Gramercy Park N, for a colonoscopy.Dr. Jay A. Kavet referred me to Dr. Sayad for the colonoscopy.I was sedated, something woke me up.I was naked from the waist down, covered by a white sheet of paper.Dr. Sayad, said that he could not continue thecolonoscopy referred me back to Dr. Kavet, my primary care doctor. My son came in the room, to help me off the bed I was in and help me get dressed.Dr. Sayad, never explained, what happened, he did say I was yelling.Dr. Kavet, then referred me to another doctor, that performed the colonoscopyat NYU Downtown Hospital. Nothing was amiss there, everything went well. Now I have a stomach problem and Dr. Kavet has referred me toDr. Sayad again, but I am calling to cancel that appointment and go somewhere else.I wish Dr. Sayad, would have explained what went wrong.
I have seen this doctor in both locations, his method of TLC is top notch. You are made to feel you are the most important of his patients., I have never had a better MD experience, Answers all questions , discusses his plans for your care, and encourages you to take care of yourself in all ways. Never loved a doctor before, but I love Dr Karim Sayad.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
