I have been a patient of Dr. Sides since 2007. Hands down, one of the best physicians I've ever met! He is very knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner, which is hard to find anymore. I will be a patient of his for as long as he is practicing! My insurance is not currently accepted at JCMG, but I have been paying 100% out of pocket (for the past 3 years!) to continue seeing Dr. Sides...because he is worth it!!!

My name is Lori Elliott. I grew up in Jefferson City and dr. Kimlinger was my primary my whole life until he retired. He referred me to Dr. Sides when I was about 27. I've been with Dr. Sides for 11 years. When I was 12 a rheumatologist in Columbia diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. At that time no one knew about it and it was very rare. That doctor retired. Dr. Sides has been my life saver. Before him I wasn't on any medication and was in the worst pain imaginable. Plus raising 2 boys and 2 step sons and working full time. I got to the point where I couldn't hardly walk. I had to quit my career. Then after seeing Dr. Sides my life turned around. He was the first doctor who really cared about me and the pain I was experiencing. He listened to me and has a very big heart but also tells you what you need to hear. He told me I needed to eat healthy and exercise as well. He gave me medicine that really helped. Allowed me to even be able to exercise and I lost 40 pds and stayed away from fast food, processed foods and flour. I was able to go back to teaching at Merrell University and I ended up opening my own school and have been working 12 hour days for 8 years. I'm just now getting worse and not able to work. I highly recommend him. He also called me himself to inform me that my blood levels were very low and I needed to go to the hospital. What doctor calls you personally? They always have a staff member do it. So I would recommend him to anyone.
