Tamara Hopkins's Online Review Report Card

I would absolutely recommend Dr Hopkins! I had experience with 5 oncology doctors and she by FAR was the best. She remembers you, listens and HEARS you, spends all the time you need with her , and makes you feel like family. I am still here enjoying life and that is the best testament I can give.

Dr. Hopkins answered all of my questions in a patient and thorough manner. She was insightful and answered my follow up questions before I could ask them. I left the appt feeling reassured and encouraged by my treatment plan.

Arrive at time. 18 minutes later in room being examined. Friendly, courteous, explained everything in advance. Follow up in radiology visit was scheduled immediately.

Go somewhere else. Horrible doctor. I know of more people that have died because of her putting back treatment then people that have survived. I lost my mom because of them and my husband has lost multiple family members due to her not wanting to start treatments. Please if you truly love someone and want them to get better go somewhere else.

Dr Hopkins has been my mother’s oncologist for several years. She always takes the time to explain the test results so my mother understands. I found out more information about my aging mother’s health from Dr Hopkins than from the other doctors. She is a very caring doctor. My Mom listens to her recommendations. Other doctors could learn a lot about how to treat and care for patients.

Most amazing caring dr I have ever met!

My wife liked Dr Hopkins but I was the one dealing with the bills. After catching her billing department charging for a bill that was already paid & they didn’t want to fix it I filed a complaint with the attorney general and then they fixed it. I thought Dr Hopkins didn’t know what they were doing but We received another bill that we didn’t owe. After talking to the billing office again Dr Hopkins herself sent a letter claiming that we owed her for something that we didn’t. I explained to her that we didn’t owe this & was not going to pay. After My wife passed Hopkins wouldn’t sign the death certificate. I called her office & suggested that I might be interested in donating my wife’s wigs but couldn’t understand why she didn’t sign the death certificate OH WAIT SHE IS WORKING ON THEM NOW!!! What a coincidence It was over a month before I got them. If you decide to go to her make sure you check your bill

Dr. Hopkins and her nurses are amazing......I have been going there for about seven years now and get the best care ever. It is not like going to the doctor nothing depressing about it and the girls in the back are great. I love it when we get to see the puppy it makes my day so much better. As for doc she is an amazing lady, always happy and upbeat she cares about her patients and their best interest. Doc also decorates the chemo room and all around the place for all holidays, it is nice to see and makes for a happy experience.

Dr.Hopkins and her staff are great to work with.She is alway upbeat and sees the good in all even when it is bad news. Her place is a happy place in a sad situation. I will be with her and the staff till the end, I have found the best for me. Give her a try you will not regret it .

Dr. Hopkins takes as much time with you as you need. Usually the wait isn't long at all. If it is longer than usual you need to understand that if she gives you as much time as you need you shouldn't be upset when she gives the time to others as well. Never had much of an issue with staff returning calls. If you don't get a call back soon take initiative and call back. Dr. Hopkins and her staff spend a lot of time giving each patient personal attention.
