Double Hernia Surgery, Dr. Gibson did my surgery on 10/2/19, I love her attitude and her caring that she showed me as her patient. If I ever need any other surgeries, I am going to request her. Made me feel comfortable. She is just an amazing Doctor.
Dr. Gibson has performed three of my surgeries and has amazed me every time. She remembers details about me and my health everytime I come in. She is kind and worked me in while I was home from college. I would recommend Dr. Gibson to anyone!

I had unexpected surgery last December, Dr. Gibson was pleasant, straight forward, annswered ALL my dumb questions and did a great job removing the infected organ. They saved my life.
Dr. Gibson provided quality care, was to the point, and left no questions unanswered. She was confident in her ability and showed empathy and compassion. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Gibson needs to lose her license asap! Had an lumpectomy performed by her on my right breast and she put in many titanium surgical clips without my knowledge. It got infected less than 2 weeks after, it busted open on its own, due to infection and swelling. I'm allergic to all kinds of metals, but unbeknownst to me for 4 years I never knew they were in there. I have an 11cm dematisis raised scar underneath the entire area where the surgical clips are. I went back to her a year later, waiting for something to change, it looked like I had a hematoma on my breast. She ordered an ultrasound, only saying by the tech it was scar tissue. I was floored when the radiologist 4 years later asked me, if I knew I had staples in my right breast. Please save your life, and not see Dr. Anna Gibson, working out of The Women's Breast Center at Liberty's Hospital in North KCMO. I thought with the way my breast looked she ripped the lump out of something. Even after going back after the infection, she never mention the titanium surgical clips she put inside of me! Whatever you do, be careful, it's your body and you have to protect it and take care of it. For the last 4 years, I've been dealing with pain in my right breast, like a poking or punching feeling and also a burning sensation. Now I have to get these taken out, which means mean going under the knife again. Save yourselves!
When my breast cancer journey started I had no close friend or relative that had gone through the process to inform me of the correct procedure. After removing one cancerous lymph node and an unsuccessful lumpectomy, Gibson brought on more questions than satisfactory answers to my situation half-convincing me into having a double mastectomy and removing two more lymph nodes. RED FLAG After seeking a second opinion and starting over with a highly sought breast cancer surgeon in the KC area, I learned Gibson is incompetent. She'd ordered an inadequate dye test. No MRI. No chest x-ray before surgery. When my present doctor/surgeon learned this she nearly dropped her teeth. My OBGYN wasn't happy, either. Remember those lymph nodes Gibson's wanted to remove? Guess what? They were clean. No thanks to Gibson I still have both breasts. If you learn you have breast cancer and your doctor doesn't order an MRI, run...run as fast as you can.
I recently had a excisional breast biopsy that was done by Dr. Gibson. Throughout the entire process she was fantastic! She took the time to explain things to both my husband and I. Her bed side manner was great. She was mild mannered and had humor which I appreciated. She took the time to call me personally and not have someone in her office call me to discuss my options and make appointments. I was just amazed at her hands on approach with her patients, It made the entire process much less stressful! Thanks Dr. Gibson.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
