Decided to have a second opinion for my surgery,as I don't feel mesh is necessary,due to the size of my hernia. He put things in my notes on my MyMercy account that he didn't even discuss with me! So glad I went with my gut and decided to get a second opinion. I had an issue with insurance denying the procedure as well and his nurse Kristina was completely rude when I inquired about it. Personally,I will be avoiding this Doctor.

I met Dr Ro in 2018 to discuss possible hernia repair. I decided to have the surgery and I absolutely could not have had better care anywhere else. Dr. Ro listened to my concerns and took the time to explain and answer not only all of my questions but the questions my friend thought to ask. Dr. Ro and his team were kind, compassionate and that made a HUGE difference in my recovery time and convalescence after the surgery. I can honestly say lt was the best surgical experience ever, for me. I highly recommend Dr. To and Mercy Healthcare System

Dr.Ro explained everything pre operation, it was a very structured system he was very organized and was adequately equipped to deal with the surgery. Even with my gallbladder being very swollen more than believed he was still able to follow through with the original procedure. Great bed side manner was great with everyone in my room! If your looking for a good surgeon I would most definitely recommend.

Our 16 year old son was taken to the ER for a gallbladder attack and Dr Ro was the surgeon on call. We seen him the next morning in his office and he was very informative and centered his attention on our son, where the attention should have been. My son’s surgery was scheduled for a week later. Less than 24 hours later we ended up needing emergency surgery and Dr Ro stayed after a long day of helping others and performed the surgery until after 10pm. As a nurse myself, I do not know if I have ever seen a more caring, professional physician in my career. I would recommend Dr Ro to anyone with the upmost sincerity and am so glad that he was the one who completed my son’s surgery. He spent a significant amount of time explaining the procedure to our son in terms he could understand and did not rush to get to another patient. He is an example of what a physician and surgeon should be.

Hands down, he's the best! So thorough and compassionate. He worked hard to get my husband's heel up to snuff and was great at explaining each procedure that was done and all of our options. My husband and I are so grateful! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars!

I am not impressed with a doctor that tells a patient who is in severe pain that he will not do surgery because of her weight. That by the way can relive her pain. He claims he will not do anything not even give her anything for the pain or to ease it. Instead he sends her home and basically says go home and die. He says she will continue to have a problem till she loses weight. That I understand but how is she supposed to do any of that if he will not a least give her something to get by until she can lose the weight and have surgery. Not very impressive to me.

Dr. Ro was very kind and easy to understand. He explained all options thoroughly. I highly recommend him!

I have nothing but good to say of Dr. Ro. I have never had a Dr. that would take the time to truly explain a procedure the way Dr. Ro did. He sat in the office with my wife and I and educated us on the procedure, possible risks and what to expect afterwards.. I've had three procedures done by Dr. Ro now and received the same treatment each time. He is easy to talk to and listens extremely well. There needs to be more doctors that treat there patients this way. Great surgeon and down to earth.
