List of Landmark Hospital Pc's Reviews
We had the worst experience ever. My aunt almost died in this hospital from them not doing their job correctly. No one even cared to my aunt and she laid in that bed for 9 months almost dead. We finally MADE them transfer her and she has gotten better now that she got out of there. I don’t recommend ANYONE to go here. Unless you want your family member to suffer and then die then go ahead but please don’t go to this hospital. I talked to a nurse there she was leaving that hospital cause they never done their jobs. Please stay away from this hospital.
So far our experience with Landmark has been great. After dealing with the issues of getting my father in law there from the other hospital in Oklahoma I have complete confidence Ryan Stephanie and the other staff will do everything in their power to help my FIL as long as he will help and show he wants it... Ryan and Stephanie made it so easy for my husband to get his dad Al checked in and paperwork all done quickly and correctly.. Big bonus points
Thank you so much to Landmark Hospital for the superior care you gave to my Dad during his stay there. My dad had a triple bypass and a mitral valve repair at Freeman Heart Institute where he also received top notch care We knew Dad’s surgery was very high risk and was over 9 hours. The surgery went very well but a few hours after the surgery the right side of Dad’s heart failed then left side failed as well. Freeman Hearts came to the rescue and dad had two impella motors placed inside his heart which meant he was on 100% life support for about 7 days. They were able to remove the impellas and the heart was beating on its own. However Dad developed pneumonia with other complications – he had to have a trach and be placed back on a ventilator. Landmark hospital specializes in trachs and ventilators. Within the first week at Landmark they him off the ventilator and was putting a cap in the trach so he could talk. I would like to send a shout out to so many of the folks at Landmark but I am truly afraid that I would miss someone and I would not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. They were all amazing to my Dad I am truly grateful to the entire medical teams in Joplin Freeman Heart Institute Landmark Hospital and Freeman – East Physical Therapy Unit. They are the BEST of the BEST It is only by God’s Grace working thru the hands of all these amazing medical workers that my Dad will get to celebrate another ChristmasThank youNatalie Higgs Moseley daughter of patient John Higgs
Quality care , friendly staff, I would recommend Landmark to anyone needing care
Very good wound care. Great personal care. Nurses and Nurses Tech A1 care
Wonderful care for my family member. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Definitely would recommend this facility to others.
When you drive into Landmark Hospital in Joplin, you will see a sign that says "Heroes Work Here". I am here to tell you, HEROES REALLY DO WORK HERE! My son was transferred to Landmark from the ICU at Freeman two weeks after sustaining a severe head injury. Specifically, TBI with DAI.He was completely non-verbal and semi-alert when he was transferred on a Thursday afternoon. He had random movements, but nothing purposeful. On Friday they informed me due to COVID, they were preparing to close the facility to visitors. I was completely devastated! He remained in Landmark for exactly 4 weeks. During that time, the staff was AMAZING! I hesitate to name specific people, because I do not want to leave anyone out. But I have to mention a few people, please forgive me if I leave anyone out or spell your names wrong. I did not see your name badges, just your masked faces, but I am forever grateful for the care and kindness you gave my son and my family.Stevie ... was a godsend! I knew when she was there my son was getting far more than nursing care! In fact, on his birthday, she was not even his nurse, but she helped facilitate a window visit! Courtney took the time to really talk to my son, and share with me the little things and conversation.Trinity was an angel ... messaging me about what was going on. In the absence of family and friends, I knew these ladies were providing more than nursing care for my son. Once we got in to a routine, I never knew when I was going to get a Facetime call. Sierra the speech therapist was also wonderful! She would Facetime me to share the progress and new accomplishments my son was achieving. Cody took care of his wound, and took the time to keep me up to date and let me see what was going on. Dr. Gupta took excellent care and really listened to my concerns. My son received EXCELLENT care, down to his transfer. Thank you to Rhonda for working so hard to get him transferred to a great facility! It got a little crazy there at the end, but he continued to get great care until he was wheeled out the door! When I finally got to see him (after a month) I am just going to say ... I AM IN AWE of my son! They took great care of him and fully prepared him for physical rehab. When he was transferred to Landmark my biggest fear was he would not make the criteria for a rehab facility. Now here he is, making gains like crazy! None of this would be possible without the great care he received from Landmark LTAC!THERE ARE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE!So yes, HEROES REALLY DO WORK HERE!
Superb doctors. Very good nurses. Good care, good food. A very uplifting experience for the family to see. Husband had been in another hospital in ICU for almost 3 weeks. Here in Landmark they got him in so much better health and ready to go to a rehab in just over 2 weeks. We were impressed. They work really well with the family. This was in March of 2018.
They only get one star because I liked SOME of the staff. This place needs SHUT DOWN.
I was sent there for physical and occupational therapy after a surgery at Mercy for a broken femur at the hip joint. I spent 2 weeks here and I dont have any complaints. Its not the Hilton but I had everything I needed. As far as the comment about the meals coming in a paper bag that never was the case for me. All the meals came in insulated trays with everything that I ordered. My coffee and food was hot my tea fruit and salads were cold. As far as cleanliness is concerned I didnt have a problem with that either. My bedding was changed regularly my bathroom and sink area was cleaned daily and the rest of my room never got dirty. The staff here is great they help you as you need it but you have to be trying to help yourself. When I first arrived here they had to help me with everything concerning mobility when I left I was mostly independent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
