I went to ER with body weakness, had.tests & was admitted. Hospitalist came in next morning and had people from Rehab floor waiting to move me. I had no part in decision making, he didn’t do exam and was out within 8 minutes. Moved to rehab unit & Dr Garner, med director, said I’d be doing therapy. She gave me no chance for questions. Nursing staff was amazing. Next morning she came in, listened to my lungs and asked if I had questions. Told I didn’t think I was on the right floor so she immediately said she would transfer me to University of Kansas Med Center.in KS City Kansas. Only thing they did right! Once I got to UMKC I had Drs who listened to me and asked questions about what happened. UMKC is the most amazing hospital. The physicians listen to the patient and ask questions to find out what’s wrong. If you are really ill bypass Pittsburg and go to UMKC. They have amazing care teams and the best of the best physicians and nursing care staff. I’ll NEVER go toPittsburg again...EVER

Dr. Garner has always listened and been very compassionate. She will do what is necessary to find out what is going on with you. I have been a patient 15years. Love her and her staff!!

Dr. Garner is wonderful. She is very thorough and informative every step of the way. I feel like she truly cares about me as a person. Could not ask for a better physician.

I am very pleased with having Dr. Garner as my physician. She is very easy to talk to and she listens to all my concerns. I could not ask for a better doctor, I would recommend her to anyone who is having issues with their current doctor, because she helped me to find out the real reason I was not feeling well. Having students work in her office, is a great idea for them and her. I always get a response in a timely manner from her staff. Thank you Dr. Garner for being a part of my health.

I don't like this doctor. She doesn't seem to care about me as a paitent. She misdiagnosed me and then didn't call me to tell me the truth. I had to make another appointment and then she told me what was exactly wrong. I am very disappointed. I was also told all my tests were negative and I had to go into a lab myself to see that I still had an infection.

No better care than Dr. Garner, we travel from our home town to her office a 45 minute drive!

Dr. Garner is amazing, I finally found a great doctor. The only downside is the office help, most of the time there is no answer, they call during your work hours, and another appointment set up for me else where was wrong, had to miss work to go to then they weren't open that day, orders and test not sent to other Dr. Offices.

Dr Garner is awesome. She listens to what I have to say, my input on my care. I don't feel like just another person as you do in some offices. Her staff is the same way. They are always so nice. I have been with her since she began.
