List of Tamon B. Paige's Reviews
Dr. Paige has a problem with not telling the truth and will lead a person on. When confronted about not telling the truth becomes very aggravated rude and does not listen, will ask you to leave. I've seen great Dr,s and Dr. Paige is not it. Be careful if you have a severe disease like me , he will set you back in treatment and leave you abandoned .
stay away. this man is not trustworthy and messed with my meds until he almost really hurt me. i took back control and i was ok then. saw him 2x and i will warn all to stay far away from this dr.
read all the ratings for this dr. he is a horrible dr and will make everything you are dealing with worse. have nothing good to say here at all.
do not waste your time. he doesnt even want to know what brings you to his office. spends 15 minutes telling you to sit in a worry chair and read articles and be a good little patient and take another antidepressant, yet every other drug is only a crutch. except the ones he is probably getting a kick back on. everything is just masking the problem to him...so why even give antidepressants? or better yet, trazadone? he doesnt even ask or seem to care what you are depressed or anxious about. unbelievable and a wasted effort
As you can see from the comments below this man is bad news. He is audacious at best and mendacious at all stages of his game. He didn't listen. He skated around laws. Discussing his conduct with other legal and mental health professionals they were baffled by his conduct. You dare upset him or anyone on his staff be prepared for them to use legal means to manipulate you. He doesn't care about your life--you are his theory and prized lab rat. He had the nerve to call my doctor I had been working with and severely reprimand him for the medications I was on. Representatives in Congress are trying to combat the theories by which Mr. Paige works. I have spoken with the secretaries of these representatives in hopes that we will also see our Missouri Legislators take on the causes of their peers. I urge you to do as I have: Contact Mercy Patient Relations, contact the American Civil Liberties Union as they are part of protecting society from such abuses, contact your local representatives, contact your insurance providers and contact Senator McCaskil and Senator Blunt. They need to know!!! And, Mr. Paige needs to know that his name is being brought before attorneys and legislators. I have made copies of all the comments below to forward them to the organizations I am working with to rid psychiatry of such apathetic bullies. An organization once called Mercy needs to be renamed Apathy.
One of those doctors that know everything. If you need the medication that you have taken for 15 years with great results don’t worry because this guy is so smart he will change it all!! You’ll feel terrible mind in shambles and if on a benzodiazepine of any from at high dose age then this smart doctor will take you off it!! So say hello to withdrawals, seizures and possibly death!! It’s not joke stopping benzodiazepines are the only medications that will kill you to just stop. What he is doing is malpractice so stop with the comments and call the medical board and sue him!! Bet he doesn’t think he’s god then.
I saw Paige for some serious depression anxiety and chronic pain. total jerk! Told me stop taking everything I was taking and went thru severall ssri meds I had taken with horriable reactions. When I explained I can't tolerate those meds he got angry and got smart with me. Told me to take remerone starting that night. Idid, could barley walk straight in the morning. Ihad to drive a large co truck to bolivar mo that morning and could honestly not keep it straight. I called him from Bolivar and explained....his coment was what ever you do don't drive. I told him I already was in bolivar he said well don't drive back....yea right. He was aware of my occupation and gave me no warnings about the effects the drug might have. He called me a few days later and said he had some samples of something he wanted me to try but refused to tell me what it was. It was a Friday and he said he would be gone but it would be at the front desk with my name on it and the girls will be there until five. I had to leave work early which made my boss mad but I made it there at 15 till five. Office was closed. Pissed me off. went and got the samples Monday anyway and it was Effexor. One of the meds I had been on before and had severe negative reaction to. After all the b.s. with him I didn't care. Accidently missed my next appointment and within 3 days received a letter from him stating he was dismissing me as a patient for missing an appointment. Please don't go to this little uncaring little jerk. He will not listen to you, talks down to you,and is by far at 56 years of age the worst of any dr I have met. I just wish more people knew about this quack. HE put my life,my job,and my mental health in jeperdy and all I got were bills. Wish I could have 20 minutes alone with this punk.
I truly believe this Dr saved my life - my GP referee me suspecting dissociative disorder - I frequently got lost had loss of time - not knowing where I had been or what I had done during that time. He referred me for sleep studies - which diagnosed sleep apnea & narcolepsy it's been nearly a decade since & I still am so thankful for him. If you want to diagnose yourself he's not your Dr. Trust him.
I like Doctor Paige. I think he is a good doctor. I have seen him now for a year and I think he has helped me greatly. I can't say enough good things about him.
I would not recommend Paige. Not only does he not recognized your needs he plays a game to show you he has the power. He has a temper and you don't dare challenge him with questions. Horrible excuse for a doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
