List of Arun Joseph Md's Reviews
Not familiar with patient condition, not responsive to nurses text messages (I didn’t get a message, oh wait here it is..) didn’t examine patient at all, contradicted specialists orders, no focus on the patient at all
He spends no time with patients. Poor bed side manner and does not follow up with patients.
I have had spinal problems for 17 yrs and He and his staff are one of the best group I have had the pleasure of seeing. Very professional and courteous. Their concern for me made me feel as though I was their only patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone
Kind and great day always treated me like l was his mom
I am new to the area and was seeking a Anesthesiologists/ Pain Physician. Dr. Joseph was a miracle find for me. He is very knowledgeable, great bedside manner, professional, and gentle with his techniques. I am challenged by Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis . I trust and highly recommend Dr Joseph.
My first visit, after reading countless, horrible reviews about Arun Joseph, I decided to give it a shot,, well he was without a doubt the RUDEST, ARROGANT, FLIPPANT DOCTOR I HAVE EVER been to, he was disrespectful, and treated me like a CRIMNA, DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR, RUN!!!!
When a Doctor let's a Patient leave the Office, with BP 194 OVER 105, There is a SERIOUS NON CARING attitude
I also would like to say that I have never been treated so BAD! by ANY Doctors anywhere in my almost 70 years, let me say again RUDE, ARROGANT, HATEFUL TALKING MAN, NOT TO MENTION has NO caring qualities, and again that was Arun Joseph, at PRC in Port Orange FLORIDA
You treated my 80 year old mother with judgement & contempt. I accept full responsibility for not understanding your practice of “interventional” pain management as I helped my mother sign the mass of papers sent to her a few days before her appointment. HOWEVER, I do NOT accept your attitude as well as the attitude of your reception staff. We arrived on time at 12.20 (12.30as instructed)with all of the required documentation completed. There was no one on reception, however a sign asking to “sign in and wait” was on display. No sign in document clip board was there. At 12.35 the clip board appeared as the glass was closed at the desk. My mother then “signed in”. Finally at 12.50 the receptionist appeared. My mother then presented the documents, paid her deductible & filled in another questionnaire. At 1.30 I approached the receptionist to ask if she would let us know how much longer my mother would to wait as we had been there over an hour & my mother was extremely uncomfortable. She has chronic degenerative arthritis in her spine & it’s very painful for her to sit anywhere but in a recliner or in bed with pillow support. The receptionist was unnecessarily defensive & abrupt. She explained that all of the documentation had to be entered into the system before my mother’s appointment at 1pm. It was apparent that we were to wait even though we had been sent the documentation ahead of time AND instructed to attend at 12.30. My mother was called to see the dr at 1.35. The assistant/nurse did not introduce herself but launched into the standard questions, took vitals & asked why my mother was there. My mother explained that she was there to discuss her options for pain relief. She had moved from Mt Dora and was referred to PRC by her primary dr. Her previous pain management dr was in Leesburg & it was too far for her to travel since her move to Port Orange. Dr Joseph then came in & the same explanation was given for her reason to be at PRC. Dr Joseph asked what my mother was doing for pain relief and as she was explaining her medication, he was very quick to tell her that if she was looking for medication she would not get it there. Dr Joseph was abrupt and not willing to listen to my mother’s situation. She has had previous diagnosis, physical therapy & is in chronic pain. I am a nurse and well aware of the problem of opioid abuse in the US as well as the UK where I reside. My mother does not fall in to this category & does NOT fit the label you seemed determined to give her. Although I was keen to explore the option of a block, my mother was by now frustrated & unable to continue what seemed to be a confrontational discussion about her condition so we left the office. I witnessed Dr Joseph “toss” my mother’s file at the receptionist as he said to her “you were right”. This spoke volumes to me as prejudice, judgmental & completely without compassion. Please remember why you went into medicine Dr Joseph as well as the oath you took.
Dr. Joseph’s areas of expertise were a surprise to me as I , along with millions of others, found my way to a “pain” clinic due to necessity...I needed pain medication to go about my daily life. Unable to simply walk, take care of myself, my household, and my animals without pain...I went seeking a “pain clinic” for medication which due to the current political climate could no longer be prescribed by my primary care physician. One would suppose that a physician caring for someone with neurological and orthopedic concerns would have specialties in those areas; however, Dr. Joseph, like many other “pain clinicians” major area of certification is anesthesiology. I question the amount of work available in their chosen field for so many anesthetists to add pain management to their repertoire of ‘expertise’. Dr. Joseph surprised me in another area. He became humane as my month to month appointments stretched out. I suppose I had to prove myself to him as well as he was proving himself to me...I was pill seeking for a legitimate medical concern. I like Dr. Joseph. I think he is legitimately concerned about my health. He has indicated caring for my well being on at least one occasion...an indication of compassion. During treatment requiring corticosteroids to be injected into my spine he exhibited his expertise. There. Both requirements met.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
