Seeing Dr Ketcherside is more like talking to a friend than seeing a Dr. Yes, she will cover everything she needs to medically, but she'll take the time to talk to you about your personal life. She is very thorough. When she delivered my 2nd child after my original Dr retired, she made sure that I received the extra care I needed due to a newly diagnosed condition. As a Dr, she is patient, kind, thorough, and well versed in all there is to offer for her patients. As a Mom, she understands how hard it is to work, be a wife, Mom, and "do it all". I'm so grateful that I found her back when she first started in St Louis, and I'm so grateful that when I moved to KC, she was here.

Dr Ketcherside took wonderful care of me during a life threatening event. I followed up with her later when I was pregnant and again, had a great experience. She has a great bedside manner, practices safely and provides compassionate care.

I've been seeing Dr. Ketcherside for several years, and I value her expertise. She is kind, friendly and a thorough listener. I never have trouble getting in to see her, and her nurses are always willing to help squeeze me in, too. If you need an OB/GYN in the Kansas City area, you can't go wrong with Dr. Ketcherside.

I'm a nurse who used to care for Dr. Ketcherside's patients and have always been impressed by her compassionate bedside manner. She is well-thought of by the OB nurses and Anesthesiologists I worked with who also see her for their own care. At my last appt she was triple-booked, but still took the time to listen to my concerns and was very kind. It's unfortunate that medicine is a business now, but ...

Dr. Ketcherside takes the time to listen and explain what is going on. She also is very good about giving options and letting me make the final decision for my own health.

I do not recommend Dr. Ryan.

I saw Dr. Ryan for several years until I left Kansas City. She was always kind and attentive to what I was dealing with. She would listen to my health concerns, provide feedback, and listen to my opinions as well. I felt like she respected me as a person and a patient. She was an advocate for me when I needed her office to fight with insurance on my behalf. I would recommend her to anyone.

I really liked her. she is very sweet and explained the procedures really well. She was competent and was willing to listen and answer my questions. She is also friendly which is an added bonus. Definitely going to see her again for another annual checkup!

I started seeing Dr. Ryan when I first moved to Kansas City, and after giving her the benefit of the doubt have decided to change doctors. I always felt like she was rushing me and not really listening to my concerns. She helped me decide the appropriate birth control method that I felt was right for me, but other than that she was very dismissive of any concerns or questions I had. I felt that she would often try to rush through giving me information and didn't make me feel very confident when I was worried about something. I went in for a check because I had an abnormal pain that hadn't happened before and she dismissed it as GI issues or gas. I had her send a sample anyway and it turned out my worries were correct and I did have an infection. After that I decided that I would look for a new doctor.
