From receiving 4 phone calls the day before my daughters appointment with the Gastric Clinic to driving 272 miles from our home town before the inclement weather moved in. Her appointment was Feb 17 at 1:45pm. We finally received a link to join virtually because we started heading home due to the weather. They were 31 minutes late sending the link. Never did we receive a phone call to let us know they were having issues with the virtual connection. We were on the road driving and we didn’t have issues so what the hell was their problem? I would NEVER RECOMMEND this facility or team to anyone. Anytime I’ve called Childrens Mercy all I get are automated services. Then when I finally spoke to someone, I was on hold for 27 minutes. What a JOKE!! NEVER AGAIN!!!Amanda Elms

I love this hospital from the inside out, they fully supported my premie in their NICU about 14 years ago. She contracted a virus that damaged her heart muscle which has left her heart compromised with congestive heart failure and an arrhythmia that affects the electrical conduction systemin trauma. After 14 years of treatment, she had gotten bigger and her heart required more support so a pacemaker was implanted to maintain a regular heartbeat. She has done great until she hit puberty and suddenly support for her has plummeted ever since. Looking into seeking another cardiologist that best fits her needs as a family

My recommendation is solely based on Lydia in the audiology department at the Broadway location. She was absolutely wonderful. I had to bring my baby in for a hearing test today. The schedulers did not tell me an info about the test, so I didn’t know not to let me baby sleep or how long it would take, so my boy was fighting sleep and Lydia was so incredibly patient! I also had to bring my almost two year old with me, because I didn’t have someone to watch her and Lydia kept her entertained by watching her favorite show and coloring with her while we waited for little man to fall asleep. She also scooped my baby girl up and held her while she ran the test. Incredible woman! I don’t know if you know how challenging life with two under two can be sometimes, but Lydia made it so much easier for me. Her kindness moved me to tears. The love and patience she showed my babies and I today just touched me to my core. Thank you, Lydia! I wish you all the best and I hope they give you a RAISE! 💕

Have had two sons have different procedures here. VBT with Dr. Price and a Nuss procedure with Dr. Sneyder. The care while in hospital was awesome, and the environment is tailored to make the whole experience as easy as possible. Great place, great expertise from the doctors and nurses!
