List of Dr. Nathan D. Granger's Reviews
I was just going through the reviews for Dr. Nathan Granger. He has been my PCP for last eight years and I would definitely refer anyone to him. He is detailed but very straight forward which is a requirement of his profession.
Dr. Granger has a terrible temper. He sends registered letters to patients that question his opinions stating that he will only see them in the event of an emergency. He told my son, age 10 that breast buds meant that his body wanted to be a girl. This man is not stable.
My husband and I recently moved to MO. We both have chronic pain and have been followed at a pain clinic in AZ. for six years. I called Dr. Granger's office on Oct.29th and asked if they were accepting new patients, they said yes. I asked if they accepted our insurance, they said they did. I asked if Dr. Granger saw patients with chronic pain, they said yes. I scheduled appointments for myself for Nov. 6th at 10:30 and my husband Nov.7th at 2:30 to become new patients and for medication refills. This morning at 8:10 a nurse from Dr. Granger's office called, she said she had some questions to ask that their schedulers couldn't. She asked why I wanted to be seen. I told her because we need a MO. doctor. Also that we had prescriptions to refill and needed a referral to Dr. Patrick Griffith's pain clinic. She said Dr. Granger does not see patients with chronic pain and he does not fill pain medications. I was shocked, I asked why would you call me the morning of my appointment?
Best dr ever
Terrible bedside manner, rushes visits, very close minded, EXTREMELY rude. He is less than exceptional. He is extremely rude and sarcastic to you when you ask honest questions. He will absolutely not prescribe pain medication even if you are experiencing excruciating pain, he assumes everyone will become addiction and seeks pain medication for fun. He is extremely judgmental. Clay Platte Family is the worst Family Practice in Kansas City. Full of awful doctors. Dr. Granger is one of the worst there.
Dr. Granger is wonderful, he is very thorough. I use the online patient portal and because he pays attention to everything I say when I'm in the office he can successfully help me online when I can't go in for an appointment. I recommend him to everyone and anyone. You won't be let down.
Totally unprofessional when questioned about why he was 45 minutes late for the 8am appointment. The doctor showed up into the clinic at 8:44. Questioned the patient as to why that was any of his business, refused to treat the patient and threw the patient's medical chart down the hallway. Poor excuse for a professional. Based on some of the comments I see below, believe Dr Granger is bi-polar.
Dr Granger understands issues of people of all ages and treats every patient as an individual. I appreciate having x-rays. blood tests and other services in one place. The staff is pleasant, too.
Great bedside manner. Very professional office where all labs and x-rays can be done in office saving me days and a lot of running around. The office even scheduled an appt with physical therapist for the next day, recommend to everyone!
My visit with dr granger was not a pleasant experience. I found him very rude. Our conversation felt like an argument. I was seeking medical help and didn't feel he heard me. He seemed in a hurry. I would not recommend him. Very disappointed,

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
