Wonderful doctor. I must say one of the best in KC.
I love Dr Taylor-Butler. He was my primary care physician for many years at Truman Medical Center. I tried to follow him when he left Truman, but he is not in network with Blue Cross insurance. That makes me very sad. I haven't found a primary care physician since.
Too many missteps. Came in for a yearly physical. I had three concerns, he said a specialist would be set up for all three. Only one was set up. The others I was informed after several request that I should set them up. Then it was determined that they had to set them up. One should have been for a urologist, but was not. I paid the co-pay and took time off work to be told I needed to go to a urologist. Strange thing is I had this issue 9 years ago and it was plainly in my files. Now for another time off work and another co-pay. As I have to get a ultra-sound first and they will only send it to the primary care doctor the questions remains if he will send it on. I will be changing my primary care doctor.
Dr. Taylor-Butler is the most knowledgeable doctor I've ever had. With God being first, He send this doctor to save my life.
Absolutely the best Dr I’ve ever had. I have nothing but kind words for Dr Butler, Dr Butler is the personification of kindness. Soft spoken and gentle, Dr Butler is what every doctor should be like. With his 29 years of expierence, I have never had an issue Dr Butler couldn’t address. Never rushed, and Dr Butler takes the time to listen. Very upset he’s no longer with Truman, I have been struggling to a new Dr in his absence.
Dr. Butler has always been very professional, cordial and informative. Dr. Butler takes an over average amount of time with individuals and cares about each individual. Would recommend without hesitation.
This Docotor is awesome, he is very helpful and knows his stuff. Now on the other hand the staff and billing is the worst I've ever dealt with, they won't return calls, they don't code properly, etc. If you go there make sure they will file your stuff correctly they have left both my daughters hanging with huge bills simply because they did not do what was needed. I have called and even made trips to get this corrected and that didn't work either they still didn't file things properly and failed to precertify as clearly stated on the insurance cards. Left our young daughters hanging with huge bills and charges for over a years worth of appointments. This is so sad becaue I know he has lost business due to things such as this and he is an awesome doctor!
Dr. Taylor-Butler is a great doctor! He took a great deal of time to listen to what I had to say. He made suggestions in treatment and then explained why he thought it was a good idea, and any side effects of medications. He asked for my opinions about the treatment plan, listened to any concerns, and altered them accordingly. He treats people like intelligent human beings, and keeps them active in their own treatment. He is very approachable and friendly, and his staff is knowledgeable and great as well. My only complaint is that we had to wait for 45 minutes on the first visit, but they were short staffed at that time. They acknowledged the tardiness, apologized and took ownership of the problem, which impressed me a lot. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
