Meggan R Newland Md's Online Review Report Card

My dermatologist in the same practice is out on maternity, so they rescheduled me with Dr. Newland. She's great! Quick, efficient, direct and helpful. For starters, I recommended this change to their Yelp page, so it should reflect accurately: They are no longer in the confusing medical plazas of St. Luke's, but instead they're at 4400 Broadway Blvd, Suite 400 on the 4th floor, naturally. Don't make the same mistake I did of running late, parking in the wrong garage and high tailing it over to the right spot at the last second!This new space is crisp & clean. Sterile, if I'm honest, but that's a good thing in both the medical world and Covid times. They have all the proper precautions in place like temp. checking, distancing, masking, sanitizer available, etc. Dr. Newland herself was right on time and diagnosed my minor issue in like, two seconds. She also listened when I said I'd rather not take an oral antibiotic (my own personal reasons, focusing on building my microbiome and immunity) and prescribed something else that should work. If I get scheduled with her again I'll be glad to take the appointment, and if she's taking new patients which she appears to be, I'd recommend reaching out.

Best dermatologist I have ever been to. Meggan makes you feel comfortable and knows how to relate to her patients. In addition to being a great doctor and knowing her stuff she also great sense of humor and is very kind.

Very disappointed in the disinterest that was shown to me by dr newland. I felt she was in a hurry to move on to her next patient. I was just made to feel like I was a waste of her time. She would ask me a question while looking at her computer and it was obvious she wasn't interested in my answers. The time spent was very rushed and may have lasted a total of 5 or 6 minutes.

Dr. Newland is thorough, precise and careful! I’ve seen her for several issues and appreciate her knowledge. My family all see her.

Dr. Newland is a phenomenal dermatologist. She has radically changed the way I care for my skin, offering successful alternatives to harsh chemicals and medicines. She is very up to date on both the alternative and traditional medical practices. I highly recommend her!

Amazing physician. Listens, explains, and treats like a person and a professional--a rare combination. Only complaint: she's so popular, it can take time to get an appointment. Worth the wait though.

True patient advocate, wish I had her as a primary physician (but she's a derm specialist). Listens to her patients. Awesome bedside manners. Looks out for the well being of her patients. Takes time to ask how you're doing. I highly recommend Dr. Newland.

Why was I removed from you as a patient .You by far helped me much more than any dr.could. I could not wait to show you my hands that you injected with some kind of steroid now they are curd! pluse the pill prescription helped so much with my itching.Why was I discarded,it makes me sad.Now my itching is back with the red spots coming back,very disipointing . I do not know what to do as I am getting tired tring to find help.
