MIchael Hollins Od's Online Review Report Card

I've had eyes "exams" from different eye centers in the past, but never felt a personal connection with the doctor. Actually, I felt like cattle being herded...in/out/next. From my very first visit last May, and recently, yesterday, I am NOW having an eye "experience". Dr. Hollins is extremely knowledgeable and I always leave with eye health knowledge. He doesn't rush and explains what he's doing and why. I take pride that under his care, my eyes are in GREAT hands!!!

This was my first visit. From starting at the front desk, to being taken to an exam room, being seen by Dr. Hollins and helped to get glasses, every aspect was phenomenal. I recommend Sabates Eye Centers to anyone that wants to be treated with respect and receive amazing care.

Fantastic visit from the front desk to the nurse who took me back and meeting Dr. Hollins. Very patient and took the time to teach and explain everything as we went through the eye exam process. Never felt rushed, he is laid back and easy going. Knowledgeable with out being cocky. Great guy from my perspective.

Was having eye irritation, made a call for an emergency appointment. Dr. Hollins was prompt, listened well and was reassuring. He was able to quickly diagnose my problem, offer easy recommendations and took my concerns seriously

Dr Hollins has an amazing demeanor and really connected with my teen. His calm and easy way of working kept my teen informed of what was happening each step of the way. Our whole family may switch to Dr Hollins- he’s that good!

Dr. Hollins was quick but thorough. He was very pleasant to deal with, casual but professional.

I have been a patient of Sabates of a good number of years and have seen several of their doctors over the years. Dr. Hollins is hands down the best! He listens patiently to your concerns and thoroughly explains his treatment. Dr.Hollins is quick to return your calls and always reminds you he is hear for you whenever you have questions or concerns. The best part is he means it! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hollins and I hope that Sabates has the good sense to keep this young man around for a long long time.

Very knowledgeable and informative

I had 22 questions on paper prepped. Dr H asked that I please hold onto them until we discussed. If we missed anything, he’d be happy to cover. Dr Hollins answered then all wo me even looking at my page! I really liked how he described a couple things going on w my eyes as , “due to your number of birthdays”. As a 50 yo woman, that sounded much better than “due to your age”. I get enough of that from my teens! (Old comments) Finally, he gave me his card, “if you are like me, you will think of a question tomorrow. I’ll call you w/in 24 hours”. My bar is high. My Dad practiced medicine for35 years. A lot of years in the very same building Sabates Plaza offices are in. I preferred to see a Sabates, but couldn’t wait. My physician Dad made house calls. Can you imagine?l that now? Times have had to change. I expect Dr Hollis will have a long and rewarding career. “Hollis Eye Centers” may be opening down the line. Forgive typos. My glasses aren’t ready yet! ??

Dr. Hollins made sure to call me by my chosen name (different than my legal). He was very kind and patient. Left me feeling well taken care of, by a knowledgeable and considerate person.
