I booked my appointment for shoulder pain, and was fortunate to get in the following week. It would have been nice had the staff told me he was retiring in less than two months, and I would’ve gone somewhere else. He didn’t really seem to question me at all about my health history, and when I tried to go over some things, he didn’t really seem to want to listen, acted like he was in a hurry. Not sure I want to meet his replacement, I’ll probably end up having to start over with another doctor somewhere else.
I find Dr Agrawal a shoulder genius. Top Notch and thorough. Correctly diagnosed me where others wouldn't because I had originally been misdiagnosed by my primary physician. No less than 20 drs before being correctly diagnosed. He told me more than I knew. Where other drs would not even touch my shoulder and deny the symptoms that I had for many months. Had a gut feeling about Dr Agrawal and paid out of pocket to go to him; best money ever spent!
He started the visit by lying to me about medication and refusing to prescribe any medication, even though I was only a week and a half out from knee replacement. My doctor was out of town and he showed absolutely no interest in doing anything to manage my pain, which was still severe. He was rushed to get out of the room and spent less than ten minutes with me. I will never see him as a provider again and I would not recommend him to anyone.
He was great! He was thorough and explained everything to me and will plan to see him again for any further related issues.
A ZERO STAR REVIEW. Awful experience. He treated me with such disrespect. Did not bother getting any background info about my injury. He gripped my broken ankle with a painful amount of pressure and claimed he "barely" touched me. Yet I ripped my leg away and cried out in pain TWICE. I have a high pain tolerance. He sent me to the ER for a blood clot that DID NOT EXIST. Assumed I wasn't doing any elevation or ice treatment. I went to a different ortho doc and was told how my foot, ankle, and leg appear is NORMAL for a broken ankle. If you enjoy being treated like scum then go see Dr. Agrawal. Otherwise take your business elsewhere. I've already spoken to my insurance about my experience and I WILL be disputing the charges.
I can not say enough about Dr. Agrawal. I went with a 3 year old shoulder injury that I had let go after a motorcycle accident. With my arm being used less and less I had also got into some nerve damage issues. He did the procedure and I was off pain meds in two days. The recovery was slow as a bunch of work was don't but my recovery was exactly as he said it would be thus far. Now 4 months out my shoulder is better than it has been in years and I am all but pain free with normal use other than the building of muscle that had gone over the past few years. Best decision I ever made seeing him.

He literally saved my shoulder after my rotator cuff completely shredded.
My husband recently saw Dr. Agrawal for a partial finger amputation. Not only was his bedside manner great and he was very personable, he took the time to explain why narcotic pain killers are not always necessary. I am SO appreciative of this. Having a doctor that cares enough to say "no" to prescribing another round of narcotics is important. Dr. Agrawal presented other options that are just as effective in managing the pain. We also were happy with his proactive approach to notify OT in the event we may need to utilize their services. We did end up needing to set up appointments with them and are happy with the overall experience.
Did extensive rotator cuff repair. As it became apparent the outcome was not going to be positive Dr. referred patient to neurosurgeon for neck pain. Neurosurgeon did testing and scoffed at this referral and said there was no problem with neck. Haven't gone back since, shoulder still has pain and poor range of motion. Would NOT recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
