List of Adam David Cox's Reviews
One of the best. Just wish everyone else didn't figure that out so quickly.
Dr. Cox has been terrific. He communicates effectively, shows genuine interest in patient healthcare, and his entire staff works very efficiently as a team. The entire team including front office staff in Kirkwood has been incredibly responsive, and the Mercy app facilitates prompt communication re: medical inquiries, scheduling appointments, and requesting prescription refills. Truly superior than anything else I’ve experienced. I’m 41. I was astonished to see a bad review of Dr. Cox and was not surprised to read that it had little if anything to do with his demeanor or professionalism, and sounds more like an unfortunate series of miscommunications during a stressful time for the patient. That review wasn’t warranted and the 1-star rating was unfair, in my judgment.
Excellent care
Dr. Cox is fine, but the office staff is horrendous and have caused me multiple issues. I think all of the people who answer the phone are outsourced or work from home which causes a lot of confusion. One time they left me 5 missed calls and 2 voicemails trying to change my visit from in person to virtual and back again and virtual again. Another time they ordered a test and told me where to go(a drive through location). I went to the test site and was told I had to go somewhere else. I went to the other site and called the office again. They told me to go back to where I was the first time. I finally went to the office in person and begged for help, so I returned to the original test site. Then, I didn’t get test results back before the end of the day (on Friday) so I had to go all weekend without the antibiotics I needed. I spent an hour driving around (while sick). I can’t believe the medical profession cares so little about it’s patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
