List of Mary S Hoang's Reviews
I felt like I was a factory part on a conveyor belt passing through Dr. Hoang’s office. She offered quick cookie cutter responses without taking much time to listen or respond. She did offer and perform a procedure I was not expecting that was not covered by my insurance and was also not successful. Took several days to respond to an email message.
I love Dr. Hoang, I think she is kind, informative, gentle but informative.
Yes, I definitely recommend Dr.Hoang. She is very personable, nice and interested in how she can help and treat your need. She listens to you and addresses your concerns. Explains treatments and other items or necessary things you need to know about. I felt Very well listened to and taken care of. I have been to see her 3 times. The staff here is very nice and caring too. The PA’s also are very good.
It was my first visit with Dr. Hoang. She was very nice and very thorough. I am really glad I have switched family physicians and am now going to Dr. Hoang. The office staff were also very friendly and helpful.
She totally dismissed my concerns. I was sent there from the ER because I left a really bad situation without my antidepressants. The ER gave me two weeks worth and assumed she would write me a new prescription. She had all my records but would do nothing. She also said the ER found a cyst on my heart. I had to ask what I needed to do. Her response was you can she a cardiologist if you want. She is horrible.
Dr. Hong listens and really cares about her patients.
The office staff can often be rude and off-putting. My husband received an automated email with an appointment reminder. It had a button to click if you needed to reschedule your appointment. He clicked it. When he went to the office he was told that is NOT the way to reschedule and if he did it again, he would be charged. Well, why do they send out the email if they do not want you to do it that way? My migraine preventative prescription dosage was reduced without discussing it with me. I've been on this medication for over 10 years. Now my migraines are back. They don't bill your first annual physical as an annual physical, so we had to pay over $500 for them instead of free. We also receive a discount on our premiums as long as we each get an annual physical, but since it wasn't billed that way, we didn't receive the reduced premium, costing us a few more hundred dollars. I am switching doctors as this is the worst I've ever had.

Dr. Mary Hoang doesn't really care about listening & caring about her patients. Me & my family received her patronizing attitude with an unwillingness to actually addressing our needs in a trustworthy matter. I have a thyroid condition that requires a steady intake of a specific dosage of meds.. which has been established for years without any changes in dosage. My last experience with this doctor was in the middle of the Covid19 pandemic, in which she is unwilling to refill HALF of my thyroid prescription UNLESS I set up an appointment with her. An appointment that is completely unnecessary & unreasonable since I have the same dosage now for years! In a pandemic in which we are required to stay home & loose our income due to so much sickness around & in which doctors are considered as essential workers supposedly being busy helping emergencies! One would think she'd gladly refill an established prescription from a well-known patient. Her staff is rude, arrogant & without any empathy!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
