Dr Mitchell is a very thorough physician. I have been an RN for 35 years. I know excellence when I see it and I am a very hard to please patient. I have dealt with physicians forever and recognize a contentious and excellent diagnostician when I am presented with such a person. He correctly listened to my husbands concerns and ordered an ekg which diagnosed a heart attack. He then followed protocol and ordered a stress test which led to the cardiac cath and a diagnosis of triple vessel cardiac disease and a bypass surgery at the early age of 49 . Had he not listened to my husband the result could have been fatal. I appreciate a physician who listens to his patients above all. This is who you should entrust your care to.

Dr Mitchell has always been consciousness and thorough ; he is very familiar with the whole families health conditions. He has been our family doctor since he came to Mercy, we have only had positive experiences and have recommended him to friends and family.

I am now attending appointments with my mother who recently suffered a stroke. She has difficulty understanding and Dr Mitchell was extremely patient and explained things to her in her limited language until she comprehended. I was very impressed with his ability to work with her and his acknowledgement that I was there to see to her new needs.

short and sweet. had a visit, got treated like im ignorant trash. meet them at a restraint and him and his very stuck up/fugly wife or mistress (if it was a wife, doc u could a done better. u may like plastic surgery tho. she didn't just hit every limb on the ugly tree, she broke them.) were very rude and unprofessional to the staff and to people around them. i will not deal with people that think they are better than us. they kept going on about the ignorance of the backwoods ppl. born in leb..

I have been seeing Dr Mitchell for about 7 years now. When I first started seeing him, he was very nice, curtious and dependable. Now he has gotten a lot more attention because he was such a good doctor. Now its so hard to get in to see him, and even hard for my 6 year old son to see him! When we go in it seems like he is more worried about small talk instead of diagnosing. Many times I leave his office confused, because I leave not knowing what was even wrong with me and what I should do next. he used to be such a great doctor, too bad hes been letting what people say get to his head...
