Great doctor at first, but after several years does not seem very thorough or to care. She has cancelled on me 4 times in the last 3 years, and I am giving no preference due to this when calling to reschedule. She would cancel an appointment I had for 6 months, and then I would be told it would be at least 3 months to get another appointment. This is unacceptable."

Caring and extremely grateful for her help
Dr. Patel has been an amazing family doctor for me she listens she cares and patient. She is very transparent with her patients. Definitely tries to find the alternative for the patient and their needs. She is so awesome!
Dr. Patel sure takes her time to listen to her patients, then explains so they understand her concerns and actions that should take place and why they SHOULDN'T. I would give her 10 STARS
I had an amazing experience. I did not feel rushed and she went through all my history and concerns. I have never had a provider before that actually took the time to get to know me first and then discuss my medical needs.
I have nothing against Dr. Patel personally, since I've never met her and now I never will. This has more to do with how the practice is run. I got a new patient appointment 4 months out with Dr. Patel. Two weeks before the appointment, they called to say she will be out of town and can't see me for three MORE months and that she's no longer doing afternoons. I can't do mornings as a teacher. The scheduler did not seem at all sorry or willing to make any accommodation; just said I'll have to stick with my previous doctor if I want to see someone in the next few months. I get that it's a challenging time in the medical field, but the lack of concern is extremely off-putting. And even in this pandemic era, it seems disingenuous to say you're taking new patients when you expect them to wait more than 7 months to be seen--maybe. I will be switching my entire family to a different practice ASAP, despite the fact that I can literally walk to St. Luke's from my house in ten minutes.
Very professional. Took the time to listen and address my healthcare needs
I was rushed in & out with alot mistakes made. I was a new patient to this office. I couldn't find the right building the office was in & nobody would answer the phones. When I arrived a few minutes late I was informed of how of lucky I was that they were going to see me. They didn't ask for my driver's license, insurance cards or any health history information!? I was quickly moved to a room where the MA asked why I was there & my health conditions as I start to tell her she informs me to stop because the Dr will only hear three & I had given three. Um okay? Dr comes in she quickly runs through the information I had given the MA & tells me she'll run some labs & see me back. As I wait in lab waiting room at least five people came & went. I went to the desk to see what the hold up was & they told me they didn't take my Humana insurance for lab draws ?? I informed them I don't have Humana & nobody had asked for my insurance or any other information. This is not the Dr or place for me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
