Always a good one. He cares, listens to you, and is very patient. He explains things well. I truly appreciate him and am glad to have him as my doctor. I've never found him rude or uncaring. He does tell you what you need to hear, but he doesn't force you.

I chose Dr Chrisjohn through my HMO plan. When I went to make an appointment his office stated he isn't accepting new patients. He should let insurance companies know this ahead of time. Now I have to wait 30 days to see a new doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chrisjohn for about 5 years. I have had good experiences overall but the reason for my review is my most recent appointment, last week. He was running REALLY behind on his appointments and I was getting frustrated. I figured he would rush me through my time because it was getting late in the day. To my surprise he did the opposite. He asked me several questions, listened to my answers, prescribed some meds, and gave a few other suggestions to help me. He didn't rush me at all!! I would definitely recommend!!

I have been a patient with Dr. Chrisjohn since 2012. Truly do not understand the negative reviews because I have NEVER seen any indication of what was stated. Now, he is direct and will tell you what you NEED to hear, not so much what you want to hear. I know others who are less accepting of the hard truth and reality. At any rate, I have found Dr. Chrisjohn to be professional at all times, concerned, knowledgeable and quite personable. I will remain a patient of this very good doctor.

My husband and I have been with him since we came to Lee's Summit 17 year ago. We think he is excellent and trust him completely. We feel fortunate to have found him and plan to stay with him.
