Dr. Doan is the very best doctor I have ever had. She was there for all of my medical needs while pregnant with my daughter, and has also been there as a listening ear when a concern arose. She is the first doctor, that I know, that has shown so much compassion for what she does. Dr. Doan will forever be my go to doctor!

Went for my yearly visit a year ago. As i am in the exam room im discussing what has been going on. Before your appointment they have you do the urine pregnancy test. Doctor Daon did not check it before coming in for my exam, instead of walking out to ask the lab tech or who ever she screams out my exam room into the hall saying my full name asking if i was pregnant to the lab tech. Pretty sure thats a HIPPA violation. Then in a fallow up exam she goes "oops, I'm so sorry" but would never explain what the oops or sorry was about when i asked she got upset and initially just made a rude personal remark towards me. Also one of her nurses over steped their scope of practice telling me i should just have one of my organs removed because I did not need it and could live without it. I didnt need surgery or anything removed, its not a nurses place to make judgements like that. I dont know if its too many patients or if she is just at the point she needs to retire but Dr. Doan seemed like she was just not mentally all there and prone to forgetting or making mistakes.

I love her. She's an odd bird (I mean that as a compliment), and I think many ppl take it as being abrupt or aloof. But I'm also not looking for a BFF--just a professional, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced doctor whom I trust, and I found that in Doan. I transferred to University Health right as it was in transition from being Associated WC... I'm glad I got Doan and stayed put. Yes, I had to wait awhile several times before she got to me, but the wait is worth it people. She wasn't condescending or rude. I never felt like she was pushing some kind of personal bias/agenda on me either. And I felt 100% confident in her knowledge and experience. My first delivery was horrible at Saint Luke's East so I was adamant about delivering at TMC the second time...so glad I switched bc it was amazing, as well. Dr. Doan and every one of the nurses at TMC were just so friendly, efficient and supportive.

Dr. Doan is the best doctor ever and responds very quickly if a patient needs anything. I am currently on my honeymoon and she called in my script within 5 minutes of letting her know I ran out. She is the best!
