Very methodical with exam, and good listener.

Dr Maher is very thorough in her treatment of my condition. Her explanations are understandable and informative. I appreciate her and the entire practice care team.

A new nurse started with the painkiller. She was closely monitored by an experienced nurse who made some shots as an example. All went well. Dr.Maher then came in and the procedure was quick and painless. A followup visit was scheduled.

Dr. Maher is very thorough and friendly. She's excellent at explaining what the issues are and answering my questions. I would recommend her to anyone.

My appointment was a follow-up on a basal cell carcinoma removal. The appointment was started at the scheduled time. Dr. Maher and her assistant were both thorough and efficient, and addressed all my questions and concerns.

We have a pediatric derm in Overland Park that we really love but Dr Maher is a lot closer so we tried her. She seems knowledgeable but our appt was less than 5 minutes long. She briefly examined the skin and then gave us a new rx. We had made the appt for two concerns - eczema and new hair balding spots, but once we arrived the nurse said we had to choose one to review this appt because they didn’t have time for both. However like I said, the appt was only 5 minutes long. Dr Douglas in OP does a MUCH more thorough examination and explanation as well as the staff there are way nicer. If you have a new concern and want a thorough exam + good bedside manner, I wouldn’t recommend this Dr or practice.

After years of unsuccessful efforts to deal with my scalp condition I’m hopeful that Dr. Maher has finally diagnosed the problem.

Dr Maher was thorough and discussed treatment options. However, pharmacy that was supposed to contact me about prescription never did (No further details were given on how to follow-up). Also clinic staff need to be trained more on providing good customer service; you never expect a nurse to answer no when she is being asked about a treatment code or answer again I don't know when asked on how to use a medication. Least a nurse can do is to point to the right person to answer patient questions (That was not professional and doesn't make a patient feel appreciated and cared for). Long story short , would probably never return and a $30 copay well wasted.
