My review of Dr. Tanenbaum was edited, and he was given an extra star. There was another 1 star review on here from a woman who he didn't listen to. She got a second opinion and her life was saved by the second doctor and a pace maker. Leave reviews alone, or don't give patients this forum to post.

Dr. Tanenbaum is not used to a patient questioning his advice, or disagreeing with it. He did not ask questions, but rather made pronouncements from the beginning of the appointment. Based on fewer than 5 minutes of conversation, and not glancing at the forms his office had me complete, he proceeded to outline a course of action, and make judgements about the cause of my current health condition. In future, I will consult a different cardiologist.

We first met Dr Tanenbaum when my Dad was very ill and in the hospital in March of 2017. Dr Tanenbaum saw him in the ER and then came in the next day to see him in ICU. From the moment that we met Dr Tanenbaum, he was very personable and put our minds to ease about my Dad's illness by taking the time to explain to us in great detail what was going on with him. The next day, he came in to see my Dad and actually played a song for my Dad on his cell phone. It made my Dad (and all of us) laugh and really sort of lightened the mood for my family. His after care was supurb and his continuing care has been great as well. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Dr Tanenbaum is the reason I am still around today. I was a heart transplant canidate when I started seeing Dr Tanenbaum 13 years ago. Under his care I was able to reverse my condition and avoid having a transplant. I too recently found out that he was not around when I went to schedule my appointmnet. Hopefully he will be back in the near future.

When my husband needed two stents, Dr. Tannenbaum was wonderful. Came out halfway during surgery to show my daughter and me the before and after pictures; the blood was flowing freely! That was over 10 years ago and we've had no problems since. When he sees Dr. T. every 6 mons., everything looks great. However, we have one problem -- we can't find where he is practicing now! Evidently he left the practice and no one seems to know where he's gone. Help!!!

Dr. Tanenbaum has outstanding credentials and a wonderful bedside manner. He is the best cardiologist in Kansas City.
