List of Scott A Langford Md's Reviews
Dr. Langford has been the right doctor for my surgery and follow up visits after i fell and broke my arm. His knowledge, expertise, and compassion are impressive and have helped me tremendously through a complicated experience.
I was treated with surgery and casting for a severe wrist fracture by Dr Langford this summer. He was professional, very knowledgable, & showed concern for my needs. My wrist is healed nicely, and I am able to resume my life activities thanks to him. I would recommend him for anyone needing hand or wrist care.
Came into the office, following a very short wait-I was an add on. (often times making the wait longer) DR. Langford was very easy to talk to. answered all of my questions-then asked what I thought was the best course of treatment. I was actually invited to be active in my care. For me this was key in my rehab. Went to therapy did well. After several weeks I was able to do much of my therapy at home. Dr. Langford was very kind and said I would be good. I would recommend him highly.
Dr. Langford is an excellent Doctor. He has helped me with both thumb and shoulder problems.
2 carple tunnel surgeries and very pleased with both.
I saw Dr. Langford twice for a closed hand fracture. He was very thorough in explaining things to me and his decision about my splint I had on from urgent care made all the difference with issues I was having.
My husband got injured at work and we went to ST lukes ER since it was the closest. They referred us over to RHO My husband suffered a severe laceration cutting 50% of his muscle. Dr Langford was very quiet and rude during our appointment said there was nothing to repair the muscle would grow back together and that his arm would be 100% good to go with some physical therapy. If we tried to ask questions ...
Excellent outcome of surgery for ruptured extensor tendon of thumb, both hands 8 years apart. I would definitely recommend Dr. Langford.
Carpel Tunnel surgery itself...good far as I can tell. But... Terrible, terrible Dr at explaining or helping me understand Anything. His staff wasn't much better, then acted impatient if I asked questions. Dr wrote 3 different dates on my FMLA, STD and return to work papers. I felt like I was constantly confused and jumping through hoops for the whole 4 weeks. At appt when stitches came out, 1.5 weeks, he said go back to work. I said what about physical therapy? He told me that people that want physical therapy just don't want to go back to work. I was stunned! How incredibly insulting! I said I wanted to make sure my hand healed the best it could. He looked at me like he thought I was disgusting and he was exasperated. Silence. Then, with emphasis, he asked if I WANTed physical therapy and I said yes I do. He was very demeaning but I got my physical therapy. When I get my other hand done I will not go to him. I won't recommend him. As a person - he's lousy.
It was a Post op carpal tunnel 6 week follow up

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
