I have gone to Dr Lovinger for years and so have my daughters. I find him to be thorough, helpful and balanced in his assessments and recommendations. Both of my daughters also see him as young adults. I recommend him.

Very friendly, actively listens, and genuinely cares for his patients. Also has great staff working with him!

I have gone to Dr Lovinger for several years and trust him to make good suggestions and decisions about my health care. He has always been thorough, asked me questions and listened carefully to my responses. For our family, he has offered us quality care in a conscientious manner. My doctor of the past 25 years had just retired. A friend referred me to Dr. Lovinger. He was prompt, attentive, gave me realistic expectations regarding health. I have seen him twice and will continue to go to him

Dr. Lovinger is a great doctor, he always makes himself available. His staff is the best!

Very unfriendly, told me 3 times to find another doctor because he didn’t see a need for me to drive 30 minutes to see him even though my specialist is in the same clinic, told me he would give me a year to find another doctor, very unprofessional, tried to say I couldn’t have the pain I’m having and problems I’m having because of my age, tried to put words in my mouth of things I didn’t say, tried to say that if I don’t put chemicals in my body that can cause kidney, liver, and heart problems then I shouldn’t be considered disabled, acted like if he couldn’t see it then it didn’t exist even after explaining that I have seen other doctors and that he doesn’t have the records because I’m a new patient from out of state, was just completely rude and even my husband couldn’t believe how he was speaking to me and how he could think that someone’s age has a factor on their disability!!!! My age does not determine my pain level and just because you don’t have my records and have never done testing on me because I’m a new patient doesn’t mean that what I’m telling you isn’t the truth!!! If you don’t want to be my doctor then just say so, don’t sarcastically tell me that I’m driving too far to come see you knowing I have to travel that far to see my other doctors that are in your same clinic!!! Just with the medical history that was given to him he should have shown more respect but instead treated me like I was an inconvenience to his day!!! Sad thing is I was just there for a refill on some medication (not related to pain) that I have to have because I had cancer and had to have my thyroid removed earlier this year, I wasn’t even there to discuss most of what he brought up, so to be treated like that and be told that to get the test results I can either find another doctor or he guesses he can do a follow up in a month or so is completely uncalled for!!!! If you have any type of chronic health problems and are young then avoid this doctor at all cost!!!

Very distracted, skips important aspects of care. He has NEVER done a diabetic foot exam on me (even when his nurse told me right before Dr Lovinger came into the room to remove my shoes so he could perform the exam), did not send me for the diabetic retinal photo, and did not give me a flu vaccine even though I requested it. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Seems to talk down on you and to you, doesn't listen when you tell him what your experiencing or what symptoms you're having. Very rude!! Do not go to this doctor if you expect any type of empathy or if you expect to be heard and properly diagnosed!! He has a great staff but that's as good as it gets in his office!!
