I am a 62 year old Canadian that lives and works in Ukraine. I had some hip problems and came to KC in Nov 2022 to visit SANO to get some X-rays and diagnosis. The whole procedure took about one hour. After we agreed on the surgery they gave me a comprehensive list of what tests I should get done while back in Ukraine. I got all these done in December. They were very patient and helpful to understand the test results considering they were all in a different format and language. (Thank you Google Translate). They scheduled a total hip replacement for Jan 13, 2023. I arrived at 6.30 am and had all the required paperwork, the surgery and some initial physio done by 12.00 pm. I walked to the bathroom 90 minutes after surgery, and walked to my accommodation by 13.30. I didn't need any help to use the bathroom or shower or any other personal needs. It is now 2 weeks after surgery and have a little bit of recuperating to do but I am at 90 % already. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Roberts and entire staff at SANO. It is obvious they take the needs of the patient first. And the whole process was fully professional, friendly and stress free. I am astounded at how fast the procedure went and how quickly the recovery was. I highly recommend the professionals at SANO for hip replacement surgery.

In 2020 Dr Roberts replaced both my hips and was a tremendous surgeon and has an equally wonderful bedside manner. Now I'm struggling with a bad knee joint. Dr Roberts has been great in helping me make good decisions for this knee. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Dr. Roberts and the staff at SANO are excellent. I was very apprehensive about knee surgery. After shots no longer worked, I knew, if I was going to have any kind of a life, surgery was the only option. Dr. Roberts is the best there is. He cares about his patients and wasn’t pushy at all. He let me make the decision about my knee replacement. I’m 12 weeks post op and feel so much better. I feel like I’ve got my life back. If you need knee replacement surgery, I would give Dr. Roberts my highest. recommendation.
