If I had the money, I would pay Dr. Phillips more than a million bucks...She is worth her weight in gold and platinum!!!! She is the best...I encourage you to make an appointment ASAP...Her staff is also wonderful!!!

She is a really great doctor, and I appreciated her explaining what is happening while working with me as a patient. I just had my first procedure done by her, and she was able to do it quickly and efficiently all while talking to me to keep me calm. Would definitely recommend Dr. Phillips, and go back next time I need anything!

Dr Phillips is a wonderful OBGYN. I started going to her mid-pregnancy due to an insurance provider change and it was an effortless change. She never rushed me through my many questions and I felt safe and well cared for. Due to circumstances, she wasn't able to deliver me, but she remained up-to-date on my progress and called me in recovery. A lot of women I know have had one followup appointment with their OBGYN after birth, but Dr Phillips had me in twice and I appreciated that more than I can say. In addition, the women who run the front office are incredibly kind and helpful and the proximity to a local lab is very convenient.

Tracy's office is ok if you seek basic care. Availability to make new appointments is ok (about 2 weeks) and you will typically be see within 25min of your appointed time. However, they are not very diligent with their administration (multiple appointments got rescheduled last minute, test results were lost and only found several weeks later, needed to remind them several times to fax referrals, no calls back even though they said they would call). The doctor herself seems to know only the basics of her subject and soon reaches the ends of her wits with more detailed questions. To sound knowledgeable she often just gives very vague and general answers instead of specifying details. Also a lot of the stuff they are doing is just part of their routine without any real reason (maybe to claim more money from the insurance?). I got tired of asking why they were doing certain tests just to be told that there is no real need and I can opt out of it if I want to... What finally made me leave that Dr was that she made a pretty significant mistake during a procedure. Tracy might be a good option if you have only basic care needs and have a certain medical knowledge yourself or at least access to additional sources of information. Be prepared to deal with repeated administrative hiccups. Do not go there if you actually need to rely on the doctor's expertise.

Dr. Phillips is a knowledgeable chill doctor and she's the one you would want to be with you in the delivery room. This review is also for the nice receptionists that Dr Phillips have. Good support people to have if you don't want to be stressed out by your doctor's office while preggers.

New to area, had a hard time looking for an OB. Dr.Phillips is amazing, I was very happy with my prenatal and delivery care. Front office staff also very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

I've been a patient of Dr Phillips since 2008. I love her and so sad that I cannot continue with her since I no longer have the same insurance. She has made me feel very comfortable being her patient. She is so down to earth. I do not have one complaint, just wish there were more Doctors like Dr. Phillips :)

In my opinion Dr. Phillips is the best OBGYN in the Bay Area. I have never had a physician go above & beyond the way she does for me as well as the rest of her patients. While she remains professional at all times- When I talk to her I feel so relaxed as if I' am talking to an old friend (a very educated, doctor friend LOL). She is very attentive, answers every 1 of my [millions of] ridiculous questions, and always makes me feel comfortable while touching base on very private, personal, and at times, awkward topics pertaining to gynecology. And if I'm being candid, it also helps that she is not the average 60 yro white male OBGYN. She is relatively young and a women of color, which makes it that much easier to relate and feel at ease during my visits. I HIGHLY recommend her for any OBGYN concerns. Although I have now moved to Los Angeles, she is my lifetime PCP...

Dr Philips was great. She is top of the list for me. If you want a awesome GYN and Surgeon all rolled into one she is it. As soon as I walked into the office I felt at ease. She is caring and warm she was available to answer any and all questions I had after my hysterectomy. I had no complications, I had all the information needed for post recovery. Dr Philips is the "REAL MVP" OF MD's in my opinion. If this review allowed 10 stars, with no hesitation she would get them all. Job well done.

My visit with Dr. Phillips was okay. She answered all my questions and was very accommodating in the examination room. There was a slight wait--longer than I am accustomed and compared to the wait times at Kaiser. My only complaint is that she was insistent on including my photo with my electronic chart even after stating that I did not want my photo included.
