Washington Muro's Online Review Report Card

I've had good experiences with Dr. Muro, he's always taken my concerns seriously and pushes medications. I've only had a few communication issues with his staff and my pharmacist... and to be fair, I'm not sure if the issues is due to the pharmacist or some policy the staff has in his office.

It pained me to have to give him even one star. He was my Dad’s doctor in the final weeks of his life. We wanted to use the same hospice that cared for my Mom, but because he is affiliated with another hospice, he dragged his feet on signing order. This left my Dad in severe pain from cancer in his bones for an extra 3-4 days. Then, even after he died, Dr. Muro refused to sign the death certificate because my Dad had only seen him once. (Reason being he died!) So the cremation was held up for several days while the funeral home found some random Dr with compassion.We found him and his staff to be callous and terrible. We will never forgot the pain he caused.

never use this provider. I have been a patient for over 10 years. I went in there this morning. Due to an issue with my child I was five minutes late for my appointment which was a pre-surgical appointment required before I have surgery on Monday. Because it was 905 for my 9 AM appointment the front desk person said they had to check with the doctor to see if they could still see me. The front desk person came out and said that I would have to reschedule my appointment. I informed them that is a pre-surgery appointment For surgery on Monday. They basically told me that’s tough luck. 10 years and collectively hours of waiting I’m sure over those 10 years well he has been late for my appointment, yet five minutes and the entire doctor patient relationship over 10 years as flush down the toilet and I actually can’t have a surgery that’s required on Monday because of it. This is a doctor being a stickler about five minutes of lightness. Actually the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had never go here.

He taught me when I was in undergraduate Physiotherapist training in Kilimanjaro,Tanzania. He used to be interested and equipped with the subject matter. I adored him, he shaped my destiny and he inspired me, to date I am a PhD holder in Disability and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Muro spends less than 5 mins with you in a yearly physical. Then, incorrect or false information gets entered into your file and then he asks you about this incorrect information every year and charges more for the physical. This is unethical and has happened more than once. I will be switching doctors.

This doctor called me a drug addict and misdiagnosed me for over a year I have all the documents to prove it and everything too. Without even considering that I was in pain. Not only was I in pain it was debilitating and I have multiple disc in my back and a sciatic nerve problem and I can barely walk on two legs. He said I was faking it. This doctor is a piece. The things he said to my face even if he believes no doctor should ever say that in front of a patient.

Told me I wouldn't fool him and my MRI was going to be negative. Patient profiling misdiagnosed me for 2 years. I never asked for anything but advice. I didn't want off from work. I will not take pain pills.. what is his problem?

Doctor Muro treats me like a person not just a number. He appears truly interested in my health care and he recommends other professional if needed in my care. He is a kind and compassionate doctor that makes me feel comfortable and I trust his manner of care. I would recommend others to him. Thank you Doctor Muro for your care. Janice Reed
