I have been going to Dr Rigden for four and half years. She is an amazing Dr that takes the time to listen to your concerns and explain things to where you can understand.

I, also, wouldn’t send my worst enemy to her. She has been nothing but short & rude to me…& never wanted to listen to any of my concerns or really explain anything to me. Then when I was having so much pain from the type of chemo I was getting & my chemo nurse tried talking to her about giving me something for the pain she refused to let me have my chemo treatment. She completely stopped treating me & wouldn’t even come talk to me! I am a 40 year old mother with 2 little kids & have been left without an oncologist or treatment for my cancer! That is beyond unprofessional in my opinion….especially when I have been a completely compliant patient that never argued with her or always did what I was told to. The only thing that happened was my chemo nurse trying to talk to her & advocate for me.Please, do not waste your precious time going to her!

I have been seeing Dr. Rigden for chronic anemia for several years. She is always very thorough and answers any questions I might have. Most of all she listens and together we a have come up with a treatment and maintenance plan that works!

Very good and took time to answer my questions and concerns.

Bedside manner is lacking, and doesn't seem to consider pain or sickness type symptoms. I have no doubt about her qualifications but the seemingly lack of empathy is frustrating.

I have renal cancer and have been seeing Dr. Rigden for several years. She takes good care of my treatment and does an excellent job of asking the right questions and answering mine. She has a great sense of humor and seems to tolerate mine. I highly recommend her.

Misdiagnosis. Did not respond to requests for pain moderation and further testing. Cancer became advanced stage

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this woman. Horrible bedside manner, never explained the severity of the cancer my fiance had, overdosed him on oral chemo, and after it fried him internally she sent him to a rehab/nursing home to die. Thankfully I got him to KU in time to save his life.

Cared so deeply for my dad during the entire course of his disease. She was always a phone call away and answered all my questions. She is a brilliant oncologist.

I was seeing Dr. Rigden for followup to breast cancer. My appointments were spaced at 3 mo. intervals, sometimes 6 mo. intervals. In this busy age of working and taking care of other things, I missed an appointment that was scheduled 3 mos. out, they do NOT offer courtesy calls, but they want to charge you with a missed appointment of $35.00 I refuse to pay this. I could see if I was going regularly and my appts. were closer together. I think a courtesy call is not out of reason.
