Excellent care, friendly and caring staff, punctuality a plus

I had a pain pump permanently placed by Di Yi . He was amazing and so was his staff. We were suppose to do trial in hospital 2-3 days but unfortunately insurance would not pay for it so his office had to do trials in office which he was not happy about . He continuously checked on me throughout day of trial and even after released gave us his cellphone number in case of emergency. Texted my just in middle of night to even check on me. After pump was done surgically I had post op with his nurse practitioner who was the sweetest person ever but he still poked his head in to check incisions and make sure I was ok . The staff is absolutely amazing !

Injections helped a lot

He was interested more in discussing Chicago real estate he was thinking of buying. Would never go back. Saw him when he was at Wash U/Barnes. Mo Bap made a bad decision to run their pain dept.

Dr. Yi administered several shots to relieve my left lumbosacral radiculopathy. I was in intense pain but he skillfully turned my situation around. I commend him for his talent and great medical skill. He helped me in 2016 and I will never forget his kindness. My sciatica has not given me much trouble until this year 2020 but I was able to use advil to calm it down. Between Dr.Yi and Dr.Ockner I am up and running. Thank you both so very much. Betty Ativie

Absolutely horrible experience with Mr. Yi. He spent no more than 90 seconds with me. He did not examine my MRIs nor did any assessment of my medical issues. He asked one question and did not seem to listen at all. I spent significant time and energy to set up this appointment in order to have medical treatment for my physical problems. He showed blatant disregard and callous indifference towards me as a patient. MoBap should not have this man in charge of their pain management clinic.

I did enjoy the assistant and the nurse - the kindness of the staff at my initial appt is why I am giving two stars. Everyone was nice. However, I had an epidural pain injection in my cervical spine and for 3+ weeks after this procedure I regressed in pain majorly. I was off work for 7 weeks prior to getting this appt booked, we were so excited that he was (hopefully) going to give me the injection and in a few days I would be feeling better and back to work. This was not the case. My 7 week disability turned into 12 weeks and my pain has not subsided, it has gotten worse and the area that was supposed to be treated has not improved almost 4 weeks later. When I called the office in tears, one week from the procedure, they didn’t offer any relief options, and I laid in bed with ice crying for 2 weeks. I would not go back to their office, I will be finding a new dr to take care of me that truly cares about my pain. This office isn’t that. Very disappointing.

After 3 months of steroid injections, once a month,my pain persisted and Dr. Yi appeared to be clueless as to why. Now I'm 20 pounds heavier and still in chronic pain. One of my last appointments was scheduled at 3:45. After complaining, I was finally put in a room at 5:15. Absolutely ridiculous.

Business is is hot and every thing is great. No bads news big bucks
