Charles B. Bowling's Online Review Report Card

I have only been seeing Dr. Bowling for a short time now. He has met my every need. Prescriptions have been easy to have called in. I would recommend him to anyone.

My name is randy sanders and doctor bowling id recommended to anyone. Hes the only doctor i found that would really help me and im from Alabama. He is very smart and he is very strict when it comes to a controlled substance which he should be.if u dont need it he will not give it to u and if he does he will do a pill check once a month.i really like this man.hes a. Awesome doctor and he gets 10 stars from me.he saved my life

Dr. Bowling has been treating my father, who is in his 70's, for a few years now. Despite my mom's and my begging him to change Dr.s he continues to go there. Our whole family, including my father, are discouraged with the quality of care received at Bowling's office. Bowling is going to mess around and let my father die and then he's gonna have a lawsuit on his hands!! A total QUACK!! PLEASE do not let your loved ones go to this horrible doctor. He and his PA are both as WORTHLESS as it gets. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! PATHETIC death trap of a place!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!

This doctor does not care about treating his patients. He asks: What do you want me to do? The patient should be asking him what are you going to do to help me. He is her incompetent. Don't count on him treating you. He doesn't care. He was gone during June when I my left leg and knee began swelling and was so painful I could hardly walk. When he returned in July I tried twice to get a walk in appt. By calling early but was told no openings. By Friday I went to Cox and they talked to him and he said he would see me at 2:00. When I went he would not see me but made me see the NP. I now have more than a painful leg but leaking blood vessels and I cannot get a referral to go see a specialist. He has an "I don't care attitude. He should be removed immediately.

My family and I have been patients for years. He has always been attentive, kind and informative.

He doesn't seem as bad as everyone has said. And we'll just have to visit more as the 14th of February was my first visit..

I don't usually write bad reviews, but I feel it is imperative, with Dr. Schmidt retiring and all of his clients looking for a new family doctor, to speak about my family's multiple experiences with Dr. Bowling's lack of care and negligence. My grandpa was one of those clients that were moved to Dr. Bowling after Dr. Schmidt retired. My grandpa was suffering from an upper respiratory issue, including uncontrollable coughing, fatigue, fever, and body aches. He went to the ER in Aurora, where he was NOT tested for covid. They did, thankfully, x-ray his lungs. He then went to see Dr. Bowling to figure out what was going on. Again, he was not tested for covid and was sent home with just a z-pack. Over the next three weeks, my grandpa has been deathly sick, losing weight, and unable to get his cough under control. Every time Dr. Bowling was called, he would call in another script for cough medicine, saying this one will be strong enough to knock the cough. Finally, my grandpa went to another doctor, who, after only minutes, said, "well, you know you have pneumonia, right?" My grandpa, who is 81 years old, has had pneumonia for three weeks! This could have killed him, and it was a direct lack of care and oversight at the hands of Dr. Bowling. The new doctor showed my grandparents the x-ray taken at Aurora ER, where even they could see the build-up in his lungs. The new doctor also said that just by listening to my grandpa breathe, he could hear the crackling in his lungs. Thankfully, my grandpa is on the mend now, but I can tell you other patients of Dr. Bowlings were not so lucky. The other time I am speaking of resulted in Dr. Bowling not noticing that one of his patients, who had come to see him for chest pain, was having a heart attack, at that moment, in his office! Dr. Bowling released him. Later that evening, sadly, that patient died of a heart attack. Do not put yourself or a loved one in the hands of this negligent doctor.
