List of Alison Juliete Ball's Reviews
Dr ball great, mercy network horrible. Apparently they are greedy and won’t let her stop taking patients. Or hire more doctors for her practice. I’ve been sick 5 weeks-fever, congestion, tired, dizzy, nauseous-called to get apt and was told she has no time and then told me to get video conference at later date because they don’t see “sick” patients. Ok I already went to urgent care twice and got meds in person and was tested for COVID, flu, strep. Got 2 prescriptions and still sick. You won’t see your patient when sick, then why bother. Extremely unhappy as I may have to go to emg room and pay tons because my doctor doesn’t want to see sick people.
During an annual physical visit, Dr. Ball was made aware of the past bilirubin and thyroid abnormal lab data but they were not ordered by her. Dr. Ball was sent 1 telephone and 3 my mercy messages about adding the CMP and thyroid panel to the lab work but she and her staff never responded back. We called to have medical assistant or nurse call back but nothing was returned. I had a rude and unprofessional call from her office to schedule a follow-up appointment for the medical concerns that should have been addressed by Dr Ball
Dr. Ball is great but some of the staff not very friendly or helpful.
Me and my family has been visiting Dr Ball for last 6 years. Dr Ball gives enough time to listen the concerns and very nice. We are happy to continue with Dr Ball. Getting appointment is easy and nice to communicate with Dr Ball using Mercy health app.
Doctor Ball is very judgmental. Her bedside manner stinks. She doesn’t care about your time. The only doctors that make you wait as long as she does are specialists. She isn’t even an MD doctor. DO, means don’t do anything to help your patients with anything just send them to a specialist to figure it out. I had to find a new doctor but I’m going to start looking for another; one who cares about what their patients are going through. So many expletives I want to call her but I digress…
I referred my wife to you thinking you’d help! Wow was I wrong. Maybe listen to your patients instead of telling them multiple times “It’s going to take a long time to figure out what’s wrong with you” Sorry for burdening you with (your job). We won’t ask you to do Your Job again being it’s too much for you! 😉”
Dr. Ball has patiently discussed my condition every step of the way. She addresses my concerns and willingly listens to my suggestions, while working with me to better my health. She is a great PCP!
Dr. Ball is great. I feel like she is concerned with my well-being. She is caring and friendly. On every occasion I have seen her she has completely satisfied my current issue and asked how I am doing. She has scheduled preventative labs as needed to keep up on my health. She is an outstanding PCP.
She was very respectful and listened to what I had to say. She was stubborn enough to get through to me, and will absolutely be our choice for a family PCP
So far I have really liked having her as my PCP. I feel like she has really listened to my concerns and wasn't too prideful to admit that we might need to work with a specialist at first. I think she has great bedside manor and have had an easy time working with her team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
