Cecilia H. Yu's Online Review Report Card

Never have I received such terrible advice from a medical professional. She told me to let my 6 week old with reflux cry it out and told my husband to make sure I didn’t try to pick her up and comfort her. She gives some of the worst breastfeeding advice I’ve ever received. She treated my 3 day old son like a doll by flapping around his arms to “wave” at my 2 year old daughter and make her laugh. I would never encourage anyone to have her care for their child/children.

Dr. Yu is simply the best. I'm 36 and she was actually my pediatrician in my later teen years. She sees all my cousins and my 2 children (12yo and 2yo) She remembers details about them every time we come in. (Which, we are fortunate that is usually only once a year.) She's no frills, explains so you understand but also listens and doesn't make you feel silly for any questions. I can only hope that she retires after my youngest is 18 lol.

I would never recommend Dr. Yu. She has a terrible bedside manner with teens. She does not want to listen to them, only lecture. She's also rude and demeaning. She may be fine with younger children but is terrible with teens.

Doesn’t care if your kids are sick. Rude to parents and accuses them of pressuring her into prescribing medicine. Has no problem taking your money and turning you away. Find another doctor and avoid this witch.

Dr Yu has treated all 4 of my children for almost 20 years. She is the most amazing person! She always makes everything clear and concise. And really loves my kids!!

She is very knowledgeable. Our kids like her so much.

Expert in care, knowledge, and people skills. Have been nothing but happy!

Have always trusted and believed in Dr. Yu with all my boys medical needs. She is very good with the boys and friendly. Has always exceeded my expectations.

I am very disappointed with Dr Yu.My daughters have seen her since they were born & my oldest has been misdiagnosed since Spring of this year.She was so quick to give my daughter meds without even doing blood work.I had even asked her if it should be done since I felt like we were putting a band aid on something vs getting to the root of the problem.I was told to try this first. Fast forward several months I got another appt so they would order labs.This time I explained the issues my daughter was having & she automatically went to ADHD.I shook my head & told her I think we're still missing something,this didn't make sense esp since I hadn't seen these tendencies before?!Dr Yu than basically shammed me for wanting the blood work,even mocked me asking if I was wanting something else to be wrong.I told her I was advocating for my child & what she diagnosed didn't make sense.Thank God I pushed for labs to be done bc my daughter is suffering from Graves & would have gone unknown:(

Dr. You has been my pediatrician for 19 years. She is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She cares so much about each of her patients. She allows you to ask any questions and her answers are always thorough and understandable. Her nurses are great too. Everyone in her office is so kind and helpful. I’d 100% recommend Dr. Yu to anyone!
