My best Pcp who found my brain tumor on time.
He’s been a family physician for us for over 20 years. I appreciate how he’s has treated my family and myself.
The best primary care doctor I've ever had. He cares! One of the legit nicest guys around.
i'm the rep for medical west respiratory and help them with medical equipment (o2, neb meds, cpap/bipap etc) and they have always been top notch to work with!
Genuinely seems to care. Listens. Compassionate. Connects with patients. Dr. McIntosh has great knowledge, problem solving skills, and ability to design a plan of attack (tests to order) to determine root cause of ailment. Dr. McIntosh is awesome.
He is always thorough and listens. He is truly interested in making you better. It is difficult to make an appointment, guess that comes with a good doc.
Excellent Physician
Great doctor who takes time to listen. It is sometimes hard to get in but that tends to also be a sign of a good doctor.
Dr. McIntosh is very attentive and easy to talk to. Very down-to-earth. Getting through to the office is a whole different story. They are polite but it's hard to get through
Called to see about an appointment for my mom in May, next appointment available isOctober????? 😂🤣😂🤣What a joke.
Great customer service very polite and attentive. Dr. McIntosh is great!
Called for an appointment in June and first available appointment isn't until September? That is not acceptable
Dr MacIntosh is very easy to talk to. Sometimes I visited a physician and felt rushed and somewhat looked down on. Not with him; he is personable and very thorough in his evaluation of your concerns. Its refreshing to be comfortable, having a sense of security with who is making your health plan decisions, and know any questions you have will be answered, and not in a demeaning manner.
Can not ever get through on the phone it is crazy what has happen to customer service???
Dr. McIntosh is very thorough & makes you feel like he genuinely cares about getting you to a good state of health. With todays pressure on hospital employed practitioners to just get patients in & out like a drive through, I find many doctors are forced to look for the prescription treatment far too often. A pill isnt always the answer & that is what I like about this practice, another reason to consider a DO over an MD. DOs tend to look at all options before pumping me full of chemicals.
Ive been a patient for many years. it used to be easy to schedule appointments, get meds that were needed, etc. Now, i have Leukemia and mostly go to Barnes to see the cancer docs. i had a non cancer related issue that needs attention so i tried to call and schedule an appointment for a severe rash. i started calling yesterday, called 3 times and was left on hold for over 15 minutes only to have someone p/u the phone and hang up. Today, same thing. HIRE someone to answer the damn phone
Totally failed me today. Staff and office insisted that I make an appointment when I actually had 2 future appointments scheduled. Would not write me a script for 1 single day of medication until my appointment the next day. Rediculous. This office is too busy.
Nice place and very organized and smart.
I saw him first, and liked him so much that now the rest of my family is going to him as well.
HE IS A GREAT DR. AND HE HAS A WONDERFUL STAFF. THEY ALL CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT FIRST.
