List of Tyler Lyman Marler's Reviews
Dr Tyler Marler is very professional and knowledgable. He spends a good amount of time with his patients to understand the health issue and provide his inputs. I would definitely suggest him to the other patients .
I officially left Mercy after visiting this doctor . This medical facility is only interested in pushing anxiety meds and treatment. I have been having severe heart pains since I had COVID. This doctor was extremely dismissive with my past and present medical information, which was provided verbally and 3 times on paper. I also have an autoimmune condition that is known to inflame my heart. He didn’t listen to a word I was saying and kept the focus heavily on anxiety because that’s what this medical facility focuses on. He was judging me on my age demographic and had decided what he was going to push before he even saw me. I also have a swollen lymph gland the size of a pea behind my ear since having COVID. He was extremely dismissive about it and again was focusing on anxiety, even after I told him it hurts and feels swollen. Mind you, I have had the swelling for four months at this point. His nurse is also extremely unprofessional. She commented on my bra and told me it was cute and also complained 3 times to me, that she had to walk over and get the EKG machine to look at my heart, as if I was to apologize to her for making her do her job. I will not be coming back to Mercy this building was filthy , run down , and in need of a good scrub. It also took 5 days to get my echocardiogram results and I was told one day at the most.Good luck here you are going to need it.
While initial visit appeared friendly enough, with discussion, etc., Dr. Marler quickly stated that I had a near severe condition and immediately prescribed a new med - which was totally WRONG, and very upsetting! I scheduled a second opinion visit with my existing experienced specialist who stated do NOT start the new med (which I already had decided, after researching side effects, etc. to NOT start taking yet until I received a second opinion), as it could have had severe effects. This entire situation could have been avoided had Dr. Marler listened to me and taken more than a single data point prior to prescribing. He did not even follow the "normal" guidance from my labs - which showed a decrease was standard in older patients - as I was only 2 points low to the printed "Normal" value printed next to my result (age corrected). I would avoid this "New" doctor, at least until he gains some individual experience. He appears trigger happy to prescribe new drugs without sufficient data
Very caring, listens to my issues.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
