I've had 3 surgeries with Dr. Daus and I love the man. He's a dr that actually talks to you not at you and listens to what I had to say and answered my questions so that I understood what he was talking about!

Fortunately Dr. Daus has a very capable PA because in the last six visits I have seen him only once. Surgeons are only interested if cutting is involved. Treatment and a slow healing process are apparently not of interest.

Doesn't exhibit compassion,scientific minded. offers worse case outcomes, incomplete and conflicting information which is thrown at you like confetti. experienced excessive anxiety due to lack of understanding what was going on and time frames of events. Shame on the freeman hospital for not developing buffers between daus and his patients, He shoulc have an interperter walk around with him. he keeps vampire hours and see's patient's at night, makes it difficult to talk to him. we had to have him call us when he was there at 1.00 and 2:00 a.m. Very confusing and frustrating to deal with and no one would help us get attention to the basic phsical needs like nutrition , ot, pt, ect. we went through hell, not knowing, which caused fear, mistrust, anger, discouragment, made a difficult time more difficult. he might be the man for the surgery but get a doctor for aftercare. All the hospitals advocacy persons just pacified us and did not do anything to help solve the problems.

Wouldn't talk to me directly; talked almost exclusively to my husband as if I wasn't in the room. Blamed everything on my weight - when told I'd just lost 80 lbs in less than a year, he blew it off and said "get thin." Only therapy he offered for a severely macerated right meniscus. Horrible.
