Doctor Jones did hip replacement surgery on me such a amazing Doctor I trust him completely

"I went in for my consultation with Dr. Jones knowing both my knees were bone on bone and had been for over 12 years. I had had a hip replacement in 2016 to which I fell onto concrete 2 times in the 1st 3 months. My left side has not wanted to hold me since. I assumed It was my left knee that was keeping me from holding the weight on that side. Dr. Jones took his time and after some office testing and watching me walk it was decided I had a condition called “Trendelenburg Gait” causing your hip abductor muscles and glutes not to engage as they should. Dr. Jones suggested we do my right knee 1st because the right supports the left hip which will allow me to rebuild those muscles. Pre TKR PT has been recommended as well I will be checking for a pinched nerve in my low back, which I do have pain from, which could be attributing to this scenario. Another thing that I LOVE is about 2 weeks before surgery he pretreats the knee with the iOvera injections which freeze the nerves around the knee for up to 3 months which will help abundantly with the pain from healing! I feel I received much-needed advice and solutions going forward and am very confident Dr. Jones is the Dr. for me. I am scheduled Jan. 2020 for my RTKR and I couldn’t be happier." November 6, 2019
