Dr. Mahnken did a Stryker hip joint replacement in 2011. I recovered from it in flying colors, have not had any problems with it. People that I tell I've had a replacement can't believe it. I have no limp, no pain. I would recommend him to anybody and I have several times.

Highly recommend this Dr. and his amazing professional and caring staff. Was very impressed and continue to be with further visits. Dr. was personable and honest. Treated me like a human being. Confident in his care as a wonderful caregiver.

Terrible bedside manner, does not answer questions, both his implants had to be corrected by another surgeon. Would not recommend or ever use again!

Dr Mahnken did bi-lateral knee replacements on me August 24, 2020. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mahnken and Mercy Orthopedic Hospital. I would highly recommend this doctor and facility.

Dr MAHNKEN & his entire staff are awesome! I had a partial knee replacement in St Louis in Feb 2019. Immediately after surgery I was in excruciating pain! I was unable to sleep for days following due to the amount of pain I had. I was miserable! My pain got better but continued & then I was told I needed a knee revision/total knee replacement. 22 months of pain, swelling & not being able to do the things I enjoy & now I need to do this again?! A coworker told me about the iovera procedure that can be done prior to surgery. Dr MAHNKEN's office is 200+ miles away from us but after my last surgery nightmare I was willing to give it a try. I am SO glad that I did!! Everything went smoothly. Everyone that I encountered along the way was extremely kind & compassionate. The difference between my two surgeries are night & day! Excellent care from him & his entire staff.

Back in 2012 Dr. Mahnken amutated my leg above knee. He & his staff were so nice & caring!!! After being released his staff would call to check on me often. I can't say enough about how awesome tjey are.

Poor experience, never had time for questions, outcomes of surgeries not satisfied at all. Wish I had never let him do my knees.

Terrible. Can barely use knees now. I would never use him again. Didn’t explain much of anything, terrible bed side manner. Never time to answer questions. Scaring on one knee is terrible. Knees grind, pop, knee cap tries to go backwards. One knee is out of alignment. Second surgery awful hospital care.

Fantastic medical doctor. Could not highly recommend him enough! Conducted a full hip replacement on my hip. His team was amazing! The entire process was very professional and smooth from start to finish. He gave me my full mobility back and his team assisted me afterwards for as long as I needed it. He even scheduled to come in especially to conduct an operation I needed on a day that he was not scheduled to work. Highly recommend Doctor Mahnken! If you need a hip or knee replacement or surgery, he is the doctor to go to.
