If I could give negative stars I would. The office staff is actually great but Dr Meyer and the Nurse Practitioner are TERRIBLE. Treated me for almost a year on an issue that started off strange and not painful to extremely painful and needing surgery. The only reason I GOT the surgery is because I insisted on seeing a specialist. Then they treated me like a drug seeker because the week leading up to surgery I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. In constant pain and no sleep I admittedly wasn't polite at being treated like a drug seeker and instead of treating me like a physician with compassion they said they no longer were going to treat me....via Mercy's website. Not through mail, not even a phone call. Just something I discovered a month after the fact. So if you're looking for someone who's just looking to collect your co-pay, spend as little time as possible and not help you then this is the Dr/Place for you. There are better options out there...TRUST ME. I personally know 2 other people who have stopped going to this practice because of the way they've been treated. Maybe at one point they were 5 stars but DEFINITELY NOT anymore.

Dr Meyer is great! She's laid-back, easy to talk to, and very relatable. Dr Meyer discusses your health concerns in a gentle way and helps to decrease any anxieties you may have during your visit. Bonus: at times, she'll have some good home remedies that will help you feel better faster, too!

I've seen the folks at Patient's First many times since 2002, but in the last year, I've had to pay over $400 for blood work that was miscoded and also for a 5 minute visit in a walk-in that was miscoded and misrepresented to the insurance company. All this great service is nice, but if I have to pay over $150 for a 5 minute visit, what's the point? I can't go back to this office again, it's liable to bankrupt me. In fact, I will not visit any Mercy related Dr's again if possible. I'm sad about this, but I just can't keep paying for their mistakes.
