Washington County Memorial Hospital's Online Review Report Card

I have never had an issue before until tonight. Took my son in to see if he had strep. We weren't even put in a room until after almost 2 hrs waiting in the lobby. They did the swab in the lobby (which seems unsanitary). Heard nothing back for another hr and a half so my wife called just to see if there was any information on what's going on and the girl who answered the phone (Abbie) was extremely rude. Her response was that they had a lot of critical cases. My wife said "I understand, I was just curious what was taking so long" to which Abbie said "well it's an ER sooo...". My wife then said ok and thank you to which the girl on the phone said "yep" and hung up. I've had many good experiences there but after her attitude tonight towards my wife, I will drive to Farmington unless it's absolutely necessary. A person's attitude and care towards a patient (even on the phone) goes a long way.

I went in at 8:00 to check my leg I went in and they took some test for covid not my leg and took 3 hours for them to tell me that I tested negative for covid then left said nothing about my leg then I just left it was 5 hours until I just got up and left

I had my wife taken to your hospital for attempted suicide. Not that it wasn't bad enough dealing with that I arrived at the hospital and the receptionist was very helpful and polite. As for the nurse in charge she was the most unprofessional disrespectful, snide, Rude human being I have incounted .I was calm and respectful asking questions about my wife and her response was I don't know what to tell you .your wife was sedated and she will be here for a long time. then rolled her eyes at me and walked away wile I was trying to explain to her my wife's situation and mental health. the RN nurse in charge dismissed me like trash and shut the door in my face wile I was talking to her. their was a security guard there he gave me a flash light I even asked him if he thought she was out of line and being disrespectful and Rude he agreed. I want something done about this. the community is supposed to be able to get help there not treated like trash. if the charge nurse doesn't get dissaanary action I will be contacting a lawyer

Absolutely disconcert for their patient's I am literally dying of liver failure and they sent me walking down the road everyone in fact does call this place a band station and it’s very disheartening how they done me

The staff here went above and beyond for me. I was admitted sunday night, and all of the nurses and CNAS that I had were very polite, showed the utmost respect, and compassion for me. I have never had a better experience at any hospital ever before. They didnt pass judgment on why I was there instead they were very supportive of me. I would recommend this hospital to anyone

No compassion, no consideration, no communication. We call this place the band aid station...if you need real help go elsewhere. This time I got a decent doc, in the past I got bad ones. They were in a major hurry to get me out of there though there was no one else being treated in the ER at the time. Did not discuss test results or probable cause of problem.
