They really helped me
Very unprofessional staff. The Office staff and front desk staff are not on the same page. Waited over 30 days for a appointment via telehealth only to be called five mins before appointment start time and ask to attend an in the office visit. I wake it to the visits as promised within 15 minutes of the call time only to be told to reschedule. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!! Poor service and no compassion.
Once I was able to get pass the fact that I was hung up on by Felicia during a time I needed someone everything went well. The staff was very helpful in getting me the assistance I needed.
This place has been a Godsend for me! I had a gap in my meds, and i walked in and after a couple hours of intake, I walked out with a prescription. They were kind, understanding, and respected my pronouns.
Was referred by a crisis line. Found someone to drive me. Drove past twice- it's unlit and hard to see from the road. Carlos would not allow me into the locked building out of the cold until I gave him my psychiatrists name, once inside he talked to the front desk person about me like I wasn't there. I wrote several times on my paperwork that I needed help setting up an advanced care directive because they asked if I had one on various forms. No one ever mentioned that or anything in my paperwork. Like they won't see you until you fill it out, but then don't look at it.Once I went through everything several times for 4 people, I was informed that I should have gone to the ER instead because they won't change or give meds if you already have a psychiatrist. Even if you don't have one, they can't give meds for anxiety, ADHD, or anything narcotic, regardless of it it is the correct treatment for your condition. They offered no counseling services at any point, and I have yet to hear from the person who was supposed to call me to help with Medicaid days later. The kindest people there were a Nurse practitioner although he started with some triggering negatives before offering anything human or useful which were basically just platitudes. Talib was the best there, and the last person I talked to, but all he was able to do was calm me down a bit, give me water, and send me some resource packets that I can't utilize without panic like most of my paperwork that's piling up as I beg for help. He's the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.I'm uninsured and unemployed due to my health and poorly managed care and dreading the bill I'll get for wasting everyone's time when it didn't help and nothing was offered that I couldn't have printed off a website myself. Why would I pay 4 educated professionals for that?Fun fact: when my relative asked for behavioral/mental help at the ER, the night after this, she was told they offered zero mental health services or meds there and told them to go to another facility that they could not name or give accurate directions to.Oh and my psychiatrist, whose treatment they were so worried about undermining? He can't see me for over a month during one of the hardest months of my life- moving, plus travel, having to do tons of stressful paperwork, plus recently coming off a med that gave me awful side effects.Mental healthcare in the US is mostly a cosmic joke of a round robin and this makes it obvious.
Everything else was great but I didn’t like how the receptionist talked on speaker phone the whole time even when talking to people who were calling into the clinic so I heard every conversation. Also when the nurses or caseworkers would call up to her I could hear their information being told off. It made me uncomfortable I’m glad I didn’t call beforehand.
If you can be patient while waiting, be patient! This place rocks. I’ve never received so much help and from people who really cared. I don’t know what I would’ve done without this place.
Didn’t help my immediate need. Was left in an emergent situation when I left there. Was brow beaten about not contacting my psychiatrist for my immediate medication needs. I thought they were the people to go to when I had a situation that needed immediate attention. But I don’t feel that I can do that at this point.
Receptionist was indifferent to the fact that I'm disabled, was very slow to wander to the front desk after chatting with her coworkers visibly in the next room. Genoa is great, however.
They refused to help me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
