Due to my age and risk factors, I was told I needed an additional ultrasound. And because either her or her staff didn’t read my paperwork/chart until I mentioned it to her, I had to travel two hours to get the ultrasound (no ultrasound appointments available locally). She told me all was good. Then when I asked why the different ultrasound tech couldn’t see parts of the baby, she told me it was because I gained so much weight. I had seen her a number of times before that, and she had never once discussed my weight. (My assumption was because she was not thin, she didn’t want to discuss my weight with me? But I want my doctor to tell me my medical issues regardless of their personal issues.) As soon as she said that, I left and found a different doctor. I am extremely glad I did.

Horrible bedside manner. Consistently tells people they’re fat when she herself is not skinny. I’d choose anyone but her if I can.

Amazing Doctor Dr. Pennycook took one look at my records and new my infertility problem right away after having spent thousands of dollars with a specialist. She delivered all 3 of my babies (single and twin) I had gestational diabetes with both pregnancies and baby B was breach. She respected my decision to not have a c-section unless medically necessary and did a breach extraction. I have 3 healthy babies that I would not have had if it wasn't for Dr. Pennycook.

Dr. Pennycook is the best ob doctor around! She saved my life! She was at the er within 10 minutes and had me in surgery within 30 minutes. She was very caring, informative, and never left myself or family with questions. She did the absolute best and never once hesitated or made myself feel like the situation was worse than it was. Best bed side manor and most compassionate about her job and patients!

Dr Pennycook is amazing, she listens to all your concerns and answers all your questions. She is very knowledgeable and does not stop trying to find what treatment works best. I always had a fear of going to the doctor I didn’t fear the doctors themselves but the diagnosis. Dr Pennycook made me feel comfortable and at ease discussing my symptoms with her. She is not judgmental at all and you can tell she cares for her patients. I will highly recommend her to anyone

I have seen several doctors for pain I have been having for several years. All of them said it was just in my head. I find her and she does her thing. She listens to my symptoms and what I have to say. She does not just dismiss me like some others have. She has found what has been causing me pain. I am so thankful she is my doctor.
