List of Alexander Ernest Graypel's Reviews
I have had the worst experience with this practice. I have worked in the medical field for at least 45 years and have never been treated like I don't exist or I don't matter as I have been treated with this physicians office. I have called at least 8 times to try to get through to someone about my medication. I've been out of my medication for over a week and if you know anything about mental health that's not good for the patient. I've spoken to the office staff numerous times. The physicians do not follow through with the patients request for the need of a call back or the need for a prescription renewal. This is not how a Healthcare provider treats their patients. I will be looking for a new mental health provider that will treat me with the respect and dignity that I deserve. Update: The office has replaced most of the front desk staff. The new staff seems to be responsive to calls and actually returns phone calls.
Dr.Alexander listen patient carefully, offering any possible option available including medication and therapist recommendations.
Unable to get a refill of a prescription. Walgreens tried calling several times to no avail. My bad.
This guy cannot refill prescriptions in a timely manner. Went several days without my anti-depressants because of negligence or laziness. Doctor wanted me off of Ambien so I went cold turkey after being on for 10 years. Basically if you take medication you do not want to go to this doctor because you won't get what you need.
Dr. Graypel will listen to you and really try to problem solve the best solution for your care plan. He will though however give you tough love when you do need it which I do appreciate. He is always looking for the best alternative if plan a does not work and always wants the best for his patients. I'm so glad I see him.
The only reason I am giving it 4 and not 5 stars was because of a recent encounter with the receptionist. I did not catch her name, but she seemed to be very curt and off-putting, to the point where I considered cancelling my appointment all together. Fortunately, the nurse I spoke with reassured me that Dr. Greypel would be a great fit. He was incredibly empathetic and charismatic, so if you call to make an appointment, just don't be deterred by the less than friendly, and I mean that phrase loosely, receptionist.
I had a great experience with this doctor at my first visit but now I seem rushed all while I pay a $40 dollar copay. Receptionist Debra is rude and not helpful to make appointments with. Another visit in a few weeks maybe it will be better
Doctor Greypell is attentive as he is intelligent. Truly listening to you trying to get down to the actual problem. Looking for ways to find solutions to problems not Band-aids. I’ve seen a lot of people and I can tell you, this one is the best. I would strongly recommend.
Dr. Alex Graypel is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. I have been seeing drs around 25 years and yes he is the best. He deeply cares about his patients and so does his staff. The most caring office I have ever seen and ever been to in my life. I went to extremes to make sure I keep this dr. (Changed my insurance). Dr. Alex Graypel has always put me first and has helped through difficult times and has helped me find DBT. I don't think I could speak highly enough of him, his father and the office staff. They are just wonderful. Very helpful. Patient. Caring. 5 stars. ?????
Had my first visit with Dr. Graypel 6 weeks ago, can feel the weight of my depression being lifted. I have suffered from severe PTSD for as long as I can remember, finally seeing the light at the end of this dark tunnel. His nurse is knowledgeable with a warm heart and welcomed the questions I had at the beginning of my recovery journey.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
