In order to be a good doctor, you need to be a good person. This woman knows nothing about her patients, nor does she care. She knew nothing about me besides what my temperature was the day of my appointment. She did leave Mercy, and surprised me when went to fill my scripts that she was no longer my doctor. Scripts that needed weening off, and shouldn’t have been off at all being for heart, blood pressure, etc. It takes more than schooling to be a good doctor! And she will never be a good person!

Dr. Amy Beck is a knowledgeable, kind and smart physician. Her appointments are never rushed and the annual exams are focused current health but also on preventative care. Dr. Beck practices medicine as if she was a doctor in a small town. Katie, her assistant, greets me by name with a smile. It is so great to have a physician that is reachable and available for same or next day urgent visits. I highly recommend Dr. Amy Beck, DO

On my annual visit to Dr. Beck, I told her about my lower stomach feeling uncomfortable. Instead of blowing me off, she ordered an ultrasound to rule out cancer. That ultrasound led to a uterine biopsy, which confirmed I did have uterine cancer, even though I did not have the major symptom of this cancer which is heavy bleeding. I had no bleeding. My OBGYN and my oncologist could not believe this cancer was even detected. They both said this cancer is usually Grade 3 or 4 before it is detected and I definitely did not fit the profile of someone who would get this. I am small framed and was told when someone my size did get this cancer, it is usually very aggressive. I had a total hysterectomy & lymph nodes removed/biopsied which confirmed Grade 1A Uterine Cancer contained to my uterus and no further treatment is required. They consider me cancer free and told me to go buy lottery tickets! Thank you Dr. Beck, from the bottom of my heart, for being so thorough. It saved my life.

Dr. Beck is a disgrace to her profession. She does not understand her patients and is too worried about herself to take the time out to discuss, hear or understand them. Highly discourage anyone to see her!

Dr. Beck has been my doctor for a couple of years now. She is kind and to the point. She is thorough and very calming compared to other doctors I have been to. She truly cares for me as a patient.

I'm a newer patient with Dr. Beck and have been in to see her twice. She was very thorough in the initial appointment and gathered all the necessary medical and personal history needed to start our relationship. In the second appointment she went above and beyond what I would consider great service with her advice, testing and follow up care recommendations. I feel fortunate to have found her.

It sad to see so many negative reviews for Dr. Beck, I’ve been going to her for years. I will say she was about 7 months pregnant the first time I saw her and we didn’t “click” personally on that visit and I was skeptical to return to her and saw her associate while she was on maternity leave. However, that was years ago and I truly enjoy seeing her now for any issues I have. Please give this very caring young mother of three a chance and realize she is human too.

This woman is the worst. After waiting 20 minutes in the waiting room and then an additional 30 minutes in the exam room. She came in annoyed like she didn’t want to be there. I confronted her about it and she said we couldn’t continue with this doctor patient relationship. Please do not see this person. She is not worthy of the title of doctor! Good riddance!!

My family 'sees her' but we really see her nurse- Kelly, who is wonderful, kind and actually listens. Very helpful. Beck may be an 'okay' doctor (not), but as a person we don't like her. My mom was dealing with depression for years (Beck knew) while my dad was sick (she took care of him for 7 years and he was in a nursing home for 5) so Beck told my mom to stop seeing my dad if she is getting depressed. A year later after he died Beck said, "Oh your husband died, I didn't know you were married."
