Great staff. The doctor is amazing and listened to my hand issues and very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment. He explained how severe the damage was and the surgery to fix the problem. He also was realistic about the long healing process and the importance of rehabilitation afterwards. Thank you so much for your honesty and skilled hands, I'm doing great and the hand is well.

I cut my hand so bad that no other Dr wanted to touch it and the only Dr that wanted to was Dr Bruce Schlafy MD he amazing at what he does and is a most number 1 received best hand surgeries I would recommend no matter the hand he does what he says and know how to and his staff is amazing

Very nice man and seems to care. Office staff is responsive. First cortisone shot seemed to work very well, but tendonitis came back. He prescribed a second round of therapy with a second shot and that didn't do the trick. I phoned in and the receptionist asked the doctor and she called back the same day to say the next step was surgery. I heard of another doctor (friend has same issue as me) that was highly recommended by a doc, a friend, and a PT. The new doc needs my records. Dr. Schlafly wouldn't send them without my written consent which is fine, but they demanded a fax, snail mail, or personal delivery. Given that I don't live nearby, this was frustrating b/c I have no fax. They do not have portal and they would not accept an e-mailed scan. This is also a problem b/c you cannot contact them except when they are in the office. Once you get them, they are good. But, I'd like a practice that is in the 21st century.

Dr.Shafley saved my left thumb years ago, and now I am going back for him to fix my other hand. He is the best. Thank you Dr. Shafley.

Staff is very rude. Seems like they are not trying to help at all. Staff is slow to respond. Does not accept most insurance plans.

Dr Schlafly performed skin grafting on my hand after a dog bite. He did an excellent job. The graft site and donor site healed beautifully. It is a year post op and not one person can even tell I had anything done. Thanks Dr Schlafly.

Doctor Schlafly performed Carpal Tunnel release on both of my hands. After the op, I have worn my splints maybe four times, before the op, I wore them faithfully for 20 years at night. Now, no more burning, stinging and waking up at night with agonizing hand pain. He is very kind, and has a warm heart, but,... when it comes to his work, he is dedicated and packs a power punch to get you back to normal. He cares and moreover, he cares that his work has made a difference for you.
