Dr Huddleston is great. He has done all of my child’s surgeries. We used to see him at Childrens and switched to Cardinal Glennon to stay with him. We have been going to him for 22 years now and just love everything about him. He is very caring and takes his time and I am so appreciative of everything he has done for my family. Wonderful. humble, gentle and caring! 21 years old Dr Huddleston performed the first of 3 surgeries on my niece when she was only 6 days old. Born with left hypoplastic heart syndrome. she merely weighed 5 pounds/ 1 ounce. Dr Huddleston was able to craftily and successfully extend her life with God’s blessings. We celebrated Shayla’s 21st birthday on Sep 16th. Thanks Dr Huddleston for a job well done! Rhonda F.

Make sure when he comes to do your surgery you have an independent advocate with you not employed by the hospital you will be signing away all your rights. Go to NY if you want to get a better heart surgeon especially if it is a child, Pennsylvania or California. Affiliated with Washington university and Barnes do your research Advisory Commitee on Transplant and Human Services know your rights.

Dr. Huddleston performed the Ross procedure on me in 2012. He and his staff were wonderful to me and my family. I am very grateful for helping me!!

I would recommend Dr. Huddleston to anyone with an infant needing heart surgery. He is very caring with all the family and does his best to make sure everyone understands what he and his staff are going to be doing in the O R. They even call the family every hour from the O R with updates on how the surgery is going. I am very pleased with the care our grandson recieved from Dr. Huddleston and all the staff at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.

Dr. Huddleston is a wonderful surgeon! I had surgery with him to correct my congenital heart defects that couldn't be corrected as a child. I was terrified! He made sure all my questions were answered and was very patient with me. He did an amazing job and finally repaired my heart! He is a blessing! Rest assured that he is the best of the best! He's also to the point and doesn't sugar coat things ( in a nice way). This may be an issue to some, but what else would you want in this situation? He prepares you for everything good and bad. I found him to be very kind and caring regardless of how you take his demeanor. I'm so grateful for Dr. Huddleston!!!
