NEVER EVER GO TO HER. BILLING MACHINE AND TREATS YOU LIKE A CHILD
So, I chose this psychiatrist because she was in my network and a female doctor hoping she'd really listen to me. I waited longer than my session actually was and each time, it felt like she was pushing me out of her office. To diagnose someone with a bipolar disorder is pretty serious but to do it in under 2 sessions was not ordinary and incorrect especially after seeing counselors for over 12 years of my life. This diagnoses not only caused me to lose my health insurance, but she could care less about what I had to say about myself. Honestly, the worst but most remembered experience because of how terrible I was treated as a patient.
I can’t believe I wasted so much time and money seeing this doctor! My PC recommended that I stop seeing her because she made me schedule appointments on a far too frequent basis.. every 30 days when the law is 90; plus I had to see her once a week for a few weeks if there was a dose change or a new medicine. I constantly expressed my concern about this and she did not budge. She would not prescribe any of my meds if I did not comply with her over-scheduling. I am so glad I found a new Psych. Doctor that doesn’t do this to their patients! She’s either a control freak, cares more about money than the well being of her patients, or both..
I am so greatful I visited her. She has helped me tremendously. If you need someone to talk to, see a therapist. If you want someone to the point who will be honest and knows what she’s doing see Dr. Deepali Chand.
I am so glad I went to see her.
Worst Doctor I've ever been to! She was always late to our appointments. I have moderate anxiety issues & was told by Chand on more than 1 occasion to "get over it".... Have a new doctor who understands my needs and is beyond professional. Haven't seen Chand in 6 months & her office has yet to call to set up another appointment as they are unaware that I switched doctors. Interesting how she could care less about my health but was more than happy to take my money while telling me to get over it.
Dr. Chand is uncaring, unprofessional, incredibly rude, and made me feel uncomfortable. On top of that, they overcharged me and then had to refund me when they got audited, and then I was sent to collections for a "past due" they never told me about. Worst experience I've ever had with a medical professional.
We were a few minutes late because they gave me wrong directions. When we got into the appointment she chastised me for being late. She was very condescending, rude. she will pill count your pills!
Dr. Chand has been my doctor about 4 years. Not because I like her, because I was stuck. I feel I am routine case with depression and anxiety. I started going to her because my doctor retired and video simply needed my scripts filled. She started by changing my meds against much protest. She did not like me using Xanax and wellbruiton (sp) and changed all my meds. 3 months of one meds, 3 months on another. I continued to ask to just go back to my original meds and she acted if I didn't care about myself and said I was stubborn. She made me returns every 3 weeks. Appointments consisted of counting my pills, asking how many drinks I've had and if I was smoking or using other drugs. I don't do any of them, but she never changed. One of the meds she put me on caused quick weight gain and I already struggled with my weight. I was depressed and angry with my weight gain and she said I needed to see a doctor to deal with my self image and I had a eating disorder. I am about 25 pounds overweight and this medicine caused an addition 11 pounds in 3 weeks. I was pissed. She was rude and acted like again I was unwilling to help myself. My insurance changed and new doctors didn't accept it or they weren't taking new patients. She was often 45 to an hour late with little apology. Once I was 20 minutes late and she said she wouldn't see me and I would have to pay for a missed appt. I was very mad and the office new it. She moved to a new office which is horrible. The poor secretary was overworked and tried, couldn't do anything about the hour plus waiting time. This time I got my 3 month script by mail and an addutional month to cover while the mail order processed. I finally have 4 months to find a new doctor to give me the same depression meds I started with when I started seeing her. I am off the anxiety pills believe it or not after the medicine change rollar coaster ride. Do not see this horrible, judgmental, uncaring doctor.
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews ... but I guess I shouldn't be considering the range of people Dr. Chand must see. I've seen her for the past 5 years and she has been very helpful, respectful and considerate. She has gotten me through tough times and is very knowledgeable of medications. I do think that mostly people leave negative reviews when they have a bad experience but few comment when they are happy ... so I'm glad I decided to post today. If you base coming to a doctor on 16 reviews made by bitter people then you are just stupid! She must see many people and I'm sure most of them are happy with her services like I am! She's very thorough and has been the first doctor to diagnose and treat my condition properly!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
