Dr. Robinson did not take the time to listen to me and misdiagnosed me several times. I gave her a few tries because she came highly recommended, but I found a new GP.
She is a great doctor who has been very attentive to my needs. Never orders unnecessary tests and has encouraged me to take my diabetes more seriously. so instead of adding insulin I am at a low dosage of oral medication looking towards a day of zero. Her support staff are all wonderful. she has called me in the evening with test results. Remember being a good doctor takes working with a good patient who comes prepared and does their part.
I am shocked to read anything negative about Carol Robinson or her staff at Esse Health in Webster Groves. MD is prompt, there is never a wait to be seen, appointments are on time(no wait)... I have been phone treated, walked in and was seen the same day, calls are returned same day. I have been a patient for over 5 years, that is afamily over there. Elizabeth is so thoughtful, she keeps them in line, and she can make a cold rainy day feel like a sunny day at the beach!!
I have found Dr. Robinson and her staff always kind and quick. I agree with the other posting saying that you need to be prepared to ask questions as she is very efficient and quick.
Carol Robinsons staff is Excellent! Nurse Liz is her shining star! They even have an office Maltipoo named Cabo who greets patients. Liz truly takes the time with all the patients. One of a kind office with a one of a kind staff. Healthcare family.
This is driveby medicine. She spends less than 60 seconds for most appointments. Incredible! Forget being able to have a conversation or to bring up other issues. I think she is a good doctor, but rushes her appointments way too much even when there are no other patients waiting to be seen. She also doesnt discuss treatments with the patient, just leaves the room and has her staff come in to arrange tests, etc. I never know what she is prescribing until someone else in her office tells me. I am looking for another doctor.
Best doctor I have ever known, with the most efficient and caring staff. I have a terminal disease which they have helped me to manage with greater success than anyone thought possible. The negative comments are beyond belief.
I have been a patient of Dr. Robinson for over 15 years. In the last couple of years I have been ignored. Anytime I am sick, the office staff does not work me into their schedule until 23 days later. You might die before you get an appointment. I went in person with a painful ear infection and they told me to go to Walgreens or an Urgent Care because they didnt have time to look in my ear and prescribe an antibiotic. Is this how you treat a loyal patient of 15 years? Dr. Robinson is a nice person, but her staff turns away business. I am looking for another internist.
Dr. Robinson has our family doctor for over 10 years and we have always enjoyed and trusted her. She is very quick with her examining so have your questions written down, she will answer all of them as long as you have them prepared.
In my many years of experience with Dr. Robinson, I have always found her to be caring and proactive in her treatments. She has ordered tests when necessary and followed up immediately.
Dr. Robinson is personable and likable but she rushes through her appointments and makes mistakes on her diagnoses and in writing prescriptions. Her office staff is generally rude and incompetent.
Terrible. Didnt visit or call during surgery. Denied mental health issues; doesnt believe in conditions
Dr. Robinson is a nice person, but she is not proactive at all.
