Long wait time when I arrived for my appointment. Dr. spent maybe 5 minutes with me, wrote out 3 prescriptions and told me to just call for refills. No guidance or follow up offered. Hours are very limited and they do not answer the phone

I think Dr. Guitierrez is very good for the office's area of focus, mainly cosmetic issues, mild rashes and acne. I would go to another dermatologist for potentially more involved matters like skin cancers, major wound or skin breakdowns, skin growth removals, etc. it's simply not their "wheelhouse." She has been courteous but can at times seem rushed or distracted but not offensive. Like many physicians, she may appear abrupt or frank at times but not insulting. I think some negative reviews may be from people not used to dealing with a Latina physician. Wait times have not been bad when I have appointments--except for one time.

She was very thorough. She clearly explained the different options available for treatment. She skillfully removed the skin cancer right there in her office. There wasn’t much pain during the process. She clearly explained the process of wound aftercare. She provided good information about wellness and skin cancer prevention strategies.

She is skilled in her profession, but expect to spend your entire day here. If you have an appointment after 9 o’clock in the morning, you’ll have to wait 3 hours on average, before you see her. It’s absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable. To make matters worse, whenever she finally sees you, she only spends a few minutes with you. Honestly, if I had known this before going, I would’ve found a different doctor. It seems like she has no respect whatsoever for other people’s time.

I went to 6 board certified physicians prior to coming to see Dr. Gutierrez and she diagnosed my problem and cured the issue I had completely. I was so grateful to find her.

I have been seeing Dr Gutierrez for many years. Helping me with all my Dermatology needs. Office is nice everyone is friendly and helpful.

While the Dr is knowledgeable, her time management skills are lacking. After my last appointment being over 90 minutes late, I scheduled a 7AM cancer removal( for which they asked that I arrive at 6:45). The nurse said there was one patient before me. I heard him leave at 7:10. Dr came in to my room at 7:45. No apologies, no excuses. Will find a new dermatologist.
